Luna Pearce had no idea what to do as she walked around the streets of Queens. She had never been able to just come outside at this time. It felt as if she was missing out, like she was kidnapped and was finally able to see the outside world. Even though her case wasn't that extreme, it was still heartbreaking.

It was 9:00, which meant that Luna had been walking for about 4 hours, and she still had no clue on what to do. Queens wasn't exactly a very fun place. Not that Luna was very fun anyways. The girl spent these last few hours crying to herself as she walked, earning a variety of stares from people, but she didn't care. They didn't know her, therefore they didn't have a single clue about her life.

It was a strange feeling. Luna was able to do whatever she wanted to, but still chose not to do anything, fearing Rick would somehow find out and beat her endlessly.

So, for the remaining half hour that she had left to be out, Luna decided to just sit down on a park bench. The park was empty, the sun having gone down over an hour before. She was alone, with nobody to talk to. The girl occasionally touched her jaw, fully knowing that there would be a very noticeable bruise along her jawline tomorrow.

Luna thought she would've been happy that she was able to come out tonight, but she was feeling the exact opposite, mostly because she knew she had to go back. Even with hours and hours of freedom, it was always the same in the end. Luna had to return home and face Rick who constantly waited for her to show up. It was frightening.

It was funny how this torment had been going on for almost a year and nobody had a clue.

Luna made sure not to tell a single soul on what occurs in her personal life, knowing that many staff members at school would get involved and make the situation even bigger. She knew Rick wouldn't like that, and he made it clear to her not to tell anyone about his business.

Still, Luna couldn't help but think what would happen if she did tell somebody. Maybe things would get better for her and she would be able to start a new life, but Luna was aware that it wasn't that easy. It wasn't as simple as running away from home because she felt like it. Luna knew that if she ever dared to run away, Rick would find her. There was no doubt in her mind.

"Hi."

Luna was startled by the voice that came from behind where she was sitting. The girl quickly turned around and came face to face with someone she certainly was not expecting.

Her eyes widened as she scanned the figure up and down, frozen in her spot on the bench.

What the hell?

"Y-You're Spider-Man." She whispered.

The vigilante stood before her, his mask adjusting as if he was smiling at her. "Indeed I am." He replied.
