Things seemed to go back to normal after a few weeks. Luna was getting used to the whole superhero thing, and she was getting better at helping Peter whenever he needed it.
There were nights when Peter got a little beat up. He would get some scratches and a few bruises that he was so used to hiding in the past, but Luna insisted that she would help him. The girl would clean up the scratches that were on his face and also put ice on his sore muscles. Peter couldn't even explain how much he appreciated it, and he never passed up on the chance to tell her thank you.
Other than that, the couple went back to normal. They continued going to school and hanging out with their friend group. Luna just wanted to forget about everything that happened with Vince.
Peter made sure that the man remained locked up in jail. He ended up talking to Tony about the whole situation by telling him who Vince was and how he was involved in the making of Adrian's illegal weapons. The millionaire looked into the situation and was able to make sure that Vince McGargen would stay where he belonged. Mr. Stark thought it was the least he could do, mostly because he didn't take this guy seriously when Peter first mentioned it to him in the first place.
The couple just tried forgetting about it, and they were actually doing a pretty good job.
"You're crazy!" Aubrey scoffed, annoyingly crossing her arms. "Kendall Jenner is so not the hottest sister."
"She is too!" Ned fired back as he rolled his eyes at the redhead.
"Kylie is by far the prettiest one out of all of them." Aubrey shook her head.
"What? No she isn't!"
"Yes she is."
"Kendall's a model!" Ned defended.
"Kylie's a billionaire!"
"Oh my God!" MJ threw her hands up, earning the attention of everyone sitting at the table. "Can you two shut up already?"
Luna and Peter tried their hardest not to laugh as MJ glared at the two teenagers. Ned and Aubrey have been arguing about which Kardashian/Jenner sister was the most prettiest one of the family ever since lunch started.
Aubrey was definitely one of those girls who was interested in that kind of stuff, but it shocked Peter to know that his best friend also took a liking to it.
"Stay out of this MJ." Ned told her, clearly too invested in the conversation he was having.
"I can't focus on my book with you guys rambling about something so stupid." MJ shrugged.
"It's not stupid." Aubrey huffed at her.
The group were having lunch together in the cafeteria, and Aubrey has been sitting with them every single day. Luna didn't think that the redhead was actually going to go through with leaving her own friend group, but Aubrey still had yet to even speak to Jess, Flash, or anybody else that sits at her old table. She didn't talk to anyone except Liz Allan. It was honestly surprising to Luna.
