Ned was ecstatic as he dumped out all of the pieces to the new Death Star set he had just bought, not being able to contain his excitement as he gathered all of the LEGOs.

Peter sat across from him on the floor, an amused look on his face as he witnessed his friend geek out. The two boys were able to build every single Death Star that they've purchased over the years, but they were still always excited whenever they would come across a new one. Peter would've been equally as excited as Ned, but all he was able to think about was Luna.

The girl had that much of an affect on him whenever they were going through something rough. He wasn't able to focus on anything else without wondering how she was doing.

However, he decided to give her the space she needed for the weekend and wait until they would see each other at school.

So, Peter hung out with Ned for the majority of the weekend. It was honestly a nice feeling spending time with his best friend outside of school. Peter knew that it was hard for Ned to deal with him having Spider-Man stuff to do along with having a girlfriend.

"This is so awesome." Ned shook his head in awe. "I mean, look at all these pieces."

Peter scanned over the box. "How long do you think it will take us to do this one?" He smiled, eyeing the scattered legos on the floor.

"3 days max." Ned cheered. "There's no way it will take longer than that. We're too talented."

Peter chuckled as he helped Ned separate the pieces. He was honestly excited to get started on this, and he could tell that Ned was eager to sort it all out.

The two boys immediately went to work, concentrating on building the set in a slow and steady pace.

Peter tried his best not to be too distracted, and it worked for the most part for about an hour. He was able to forget about all the drama for a moment and just focused on spending time with his best friend who he barely had time for anymore.

"It's already looking sick!" Ned cheered, triumphantly clapping his hands.

"Let's hope you don't destroy this one like you did with the other one." Peter joked.

"That wasn't my fault." Ned grumbled, rolling his eyes at the brunette.

The boy smirked. "How so?"

"I was in too much shock watching you crawl on the ceiling to realize I was letting the Death Star slip through my fingers." Ned scoffed. "I shouldn't be held accountable for that."
