A couple days went by, and Luna Pearce was finding herself to become more comfortable around Peter. The two were practically together all the time: at school, during lunch, and even after school when the pair would hang out until the boy had to leave to do his daily patrol. It was obvious that they enjoyed spending time with one another, and Luna just hoped that she wouldn't screw anything up this time.

Luna also grew a liking to Ned. The boy was funny beyond words, and it had been a long time since anybody could make Luna laugh the way he did.

Things seemed okay again, and it was all thanks to Peter Parker.

"You basically have to expand the log formula by moving the exponent to the front of the equation." The boy explained, pointing to the problem with the end of his pencil.

Luna furrowed her eyebrows, concentrating on what Peter was teaching her but still having no clue on what to do.

"But how did a fraction turn into that?" She sighed, looking closely at the homework that rested in front of her.

The boy pointed to a different part of the sheet, showing her the directions. "Because you use the properties to expand the logarithm, and it turns into a fraction once you plug it in."

Since the two teenagers were friends again, they would have days in which Peter would help Luna with her homework, knowing that she was having some trouble in her math class. The boy was more than happy to help her, especially since the girl was finally trying to get her grades up. Now that she was able to move forward with her life without Rick, the girl figured she'd try and get herself together. So, her and Peter would stay after school in the library sometimes to have study sessions. The girl was smart enough to figure this out on her own, but she still wasn't motivated enough.

Even though Luna was struggling a lot, she was grateful that Peter was being patient with her. He didn't show an ounce of annoyance, and she was glad.

Luna was still learning how to open up to the boy, but she was definitely improving.

"It still looks like a bunch of gibberish to me." The girl mumbled, sighing as she rubbed her temple.

Peter smiled sympathetically. "We could take a break." He offered.

"We've already taken 2." Luna told him, sitting back in her seat. "The test is tomorrow and I can't afford to fail it."

If Luna wanted her grade to go up, she had to make an effort to pass the upcoming test. There was only so much she could do with classwork.

Peter bit his lip. It was already 6:00 and he had to leave soon if he wanted to change into his suit and stop whatever crime that came his way tonight. The school library was closing soon, but the boy didn't want to end their study session if Luna was still having trouble. He wanted to help her understand the material.
