It was bright and early in the morning.
Luna walked in the main doors of Midtown High with her bag slung over her shoulder and a coffee cup held in her hand. As usual, she needed her morning fix every single morning so that she was able to get through the day. Luna was certain that she would never become a morning person.
The girl smiled as she spotted Aubrey and Peter standing near her locker, waiting for her as they talked amongst themselves. The two smiled as they saw the girl approach them.
"Hey," Aubrey cheered, her eyes bright as she stared at the brunette. "We've been waiting for you."
"Really?" Luna played dumb. "I didn't notice."
"Cute." Aubrey rolled her eyes. "It's about time you showed up. Now we just have to wait for Ned and MJ, if they ever hurry their asses up."
Peter gave Luna a warm smile as he put his arm around her waist.
"She's a little excited for the field trip today." He told the girl.
"Well duh," Aubrey crossed her arms. "We get to skip a whole day of school. I can't be the only one who's excited."
"Do you even know where we're going?" Luna questioned her.
"I don't care." The redhead replied. "Anywhere is better than here."
Peter looked at the ground, chuckling as Luna rolled her eyes.
"Where are we going anyways?" Aubrey was wondering.
"MoMA." Peter told her, to which the girl just raised an eyebrow.
"What the hell is that?" She asked.
"Museum of Modern Art." Luna finished, laughing at Aubrey's bored expression.
"Sounds lame." She had to admit. "But whatever. It's still better than being here."
Peter shook his head, quietly laughing to himself.
"Hey guys." Ned cheerfully walked up to the three teenagers along with MJ.
"Yes!" Aubrey smiled big. "We're all here. Now let's get going so we can get the first pick on the bus."
"Seriously?" MJ scoffed as she crossed her arms. "How are you excited for this field trip?"
"Trust me," Luna spoke. "She's not excited to learn. She's just excited to get out of being in class all day."
"Ned," Aubrey looked at the dark haired boy. "Did you bring the snacks?"
Ned smirked as he unzipped his backpack, revealing all of the goodies he had packed inside of it.
"I took out all of my school junk and put these in." He gestured. "I have chips, soda, candy, and chocolate bars."
