It was hard for Peter to keep his eyes awake and alert during physics. He constantly found himself drifting off into slumber as the class period went by, not even listening to what the teacher was talking about. The boy had one of the roughest nights in a long time while swinging around the city, a crime being thrown at him every couple minutes. He wasn't able to go home until around 3AM, which explained his grumpy mood as he walked into school.

Peter was exhausted.

The only person who would be able to brighten his spirits was Luna, but the girl was barely talking to him.

Things were still extremely awkward between the two, and it was driving Peter crazy.

They still hung out during their class together and at lunch, but it was obvious that things were different. Even when Peter would walk her home, he felt this tension between them that he desperately wanted to break. At least they were still on good terms, and Peter was just glad that Luna wasn't ignoring him completely.

Ned even felt awkward being around the two, not knowing how to handle something like this. After Peter told him what happened between them, he was excited. However, he didn't know that Luna would shut out the entire thing altogether all because she was scared of what would happen. He wanted to tell Luna that everything would be fine, and that she should trust Peter enough to be with him.

Peter begged him not to say anything to her, knowing that it would make things worse. So, the boy decided to give her as much time as she wanted until she was ready to talk about it.

When the boy walked out of class in hopes to look for Ned so that they could walk to 4th period together, he was instead surprised when someone else randomly stepped in front of him, catching his attention.

"Parker." Aubrey greeted, crossing her arms as she looked at the boy, stopping him in his tracks.

Peter nervously stood there, offering a tight-lipped smile. "H-Hey Aubrey."

It was shocking to see the popular redhead stand right in front of him, especially because this never happened before. Sure, Aubrey always knew who Peter was, and he definitely always knew who she was, but they have never had a proper conversation with each other. The boy thought she would've been embarrassed to be seen talking to him, but it was pretty obvious that Aubrey Morgan didn't care what people thought. He knew that the redhead was friends with Liz, and a bunch of other people who normally picked on Peter, but that was basically it.

And now, he knew her as Luna Pearce's friend.

"I need to talk you." The girl spoke. "It's urgent."
