"You look stunning!"

Aubrey sighed happily, feeling like a proud mother as she examined Luna through the mirror. The redhead sat on Luna's bed, stacks of clothes surrounding her.

"I don't feel stunning." Luna pouted, not being satisfied with the look Aubrey picked out. The blue dress that wrapped itself around her body didn't feel like the right choice for this particular night. Luna was on the verge of exploding due to how nervous she felt, and every outfit she tried on wasn't making her feel any better.

"Don't be stupid." Aubrey stood up, making her way to the brunette. "You're just nervous."

Luna felt like this was the thousandth time in which she was stressing out on what to wear, but this time was obviously different. It wasn't like those other two times when she went to those parties. Luna had no idea what to wear, and she wasn't liking anything that sat in her closet. So, she decided to call Aubrey for help. The redhead was more than happy to come over with some outfits of her own.

Luna wasn't sure how good of an idea it was to have Aubrey come to her apartment, but she figured that since Rick was no longer a problem, then it would be fine. Plus, she was desperate.

Luna wanted this particular night to be special, especially because she had been waiting for this to happen for a long time.

"You're so tense." Aubrey chuckled as she put her hands on Luna's shoulders, shaking them back and forth. "Loosen up a little bit."

Luna groaned. "I just don't want to screw this up."

"You won't." Aubrey shook her head.

"How do you know?"

"Because I know." The redhead replied, reaching over and grabbing a pair of shoes. "These would look great with the dress."

Luna didn't object any further. Instead, she just took the shoes from Aubrey's hands and went to her bed to put them on. Her hair was already done, just light waves falling over her shoulders and a simple necklace resting around her neck. There was no way Luna would've been able to pull this off without Aubrey's help.

As the redhead watched Luna out her shoes on, she sighed and made her way over to the bed. She sat next to Luna, giving a sympathetic smile as she looked at her friend.

"Have I told you that I'm sorry?" She asked.

Luna rested her hands on her lap, nodding her head. She knew exactly what Aubrey was referring to, but the last thing she wanted was another apology from her. It seemed like she was always apologizing for the same thing.

"It's okay." Luna replied, not wanting to discuss the matter.

The brunette thought by calling Aubrey in the first place would've made things go back to normal between the two, even after telling the redhead that everything had worked out between her and Peter.
