"Listen guys I had a long night." Peter complained, webbing up the final touches of three muggers who attempted to rob a nearby store. "So I'd appreciate if you'd stop giving me that look." He told one of the men who was eyeing Peter in disgust, obviously pissed that he was going to be thrown behind bars.

"Piss off." The guy muttered, spitting at the floor, making Peter roll his eyes behind his mask.

"Hey," he defended. "I'm not the criminal here. Don't get all mad just because you weren't slick enough to successfully rob the mini mart."

The men sat there helplessly as Spider-Man webbed them up nice and tight. Usually, the vigilante was a big cocky guy who made fun of any criminal he encountered, but today, he wasn't feeling it at all. He felt off and he had been for a couple days. The back of his head was telling him to go home and rest, but crime never slept in Queens.

"Alright," Peter sighed, dusting off his gloved hands. "I'm done here."

Peter took one last look at the three muggers before hearing Karen's voice ring through his ears.

"The police are on their way Peter. Approximately half a mile away."

Peter nodded. "That's my cue to leave." He muttered to himself. "See ya gentlemen. Stay off the streets." And with that, Spider-Man wasted no time in shooting a web far into the side of a nearby building and swinging away. The boy was exhausted, and it was fairly late, so he figured he would call it a night.

It took about 20 minutes for Peter to dress back into his regular clothes in an alley and walk all the way back to his apartment. Even though his Aunt May was aware of Peter's secret identity, he still came home looking normal as ever, not wanting any threats knowing who he was or having anyone follow him if he ever went home being Spider-Man. He made that mistake one too many times.

As Peter arrived home and into his bedroom, he wasted no time plopping down on his bed after changing into a t-shirt and plaid pajama pants. His hair was a curly mess, and his eyes were pleading to close. Peter hadn't been this tired since he first became Spider-Man, not being used to his schedule then. But now, it was different.

There was something on his mind that made him in this type of mood, or someone on his mind to be more accurate.

And it was none other than Luna Pearce.

It had been almost an entire week since the girl had at school, and Peter didn't know how to handle the situation. At first, he tried thinking nothing of it, but as the days went on, he started to feel a little uneasy.

Peter hardly knew Luna, so he didn't want to jump to conclusions, but there was obviously something going on with the girl when he last saw and spoke to her, but ever since then, he hadn't heard from her at all. It was strange to Peter, especially since Luna never ever missed a single day of school ever since she transferred to Midtown.
