Luna Pearce and Peter Parker were on a completely new level in their relationship. Things have obviously changed, but it made them trust each other even more as they dealt with everything as a team.
Peter had never felt so relieved in his life. The boy didn't even realize how much his secret had been weighing on him. It was just making him nervous all the time, and also guilty since he hated keeping something like that from Luna. Now that she was aware of who he was, and what he did every night, it was like he had nothing to hide anymore.
The boy wished that he would have told Luna himself, and not the way she actually found out, but there was nothing he could do to change that. His only option was to guide Luna and help her understand what his superhero life was all about.
It was the next morning. Luna had decided to stay at Peter's apartment for the night, mostly because they still had so much to talk about. The girl was much more comfortable being at his place rather than her own.
By the time Peter and Luna arrived at his apartment, it was nearing midnight. May was already asleep in her room, so the boy didn't bother waking her up just by telling her that his girlfriend was staying the night. Peter never had a girl stay over before, so he decided it was best to keep it a little secret since he was well aware of the lecture he would have if May knew about it.
The couple spent majority of the night just talking. Luna had so many questions for Peter, and he was more than happy to answer them. They were still on cloud 9 from the moment they shared in Luna's room, and the two couldn't stop thinking about it the entire time.
Even though the teenagers had school the next day, that still didn't stop them from going to sleep super late, mostly because they were in such a deep conversation.
Peter told Luna everything.
He explained how he got his superhuman abilities in the first place, and how his Uncle Ben died right after that. He told her the amount of guilt he felt when his uncle passed away, and how he thought it was all his fault for not being there when he needed to be.
All Luna did was sit there and listen to everything Peter had to say. She stood quiet as Peter told her how he felt that he had this purpose in this world, and that his purpose was meant to help people, and that it was his call to do exactly that. The boy reminisced on the days when he first met Tony Stark when he invited him to Germany. Everything completely changed for Peter when he got his powers, and he was still progressing day by day.
The boy explained the whole situation that happened with Toomes, which cleared a lot of stuff for Luna since that was the main motive that Vince had against him.
Peter told Luna everything she needed to know; from getting bit by a radioactive spider, having Tony Stark as his mentor, traveling to Germany, having his Aunt May find out about him, dealing with Adrian Toomes and so on.
