Now that Peter Parker was no longer available, he didn't realize how difficult it was to actually take on the responsibility of having a girlfriend. There were so many things that he wasn't familiar with, and it was completely nerve wrecking. Peter wasn't used to being in a relationship, especially since there was an obvious problem.

It was getting harder to spend time with Luna, and Peter was afraid that she was catching on to his suspicious acts.

Throughout the two weeks that they have been an official couple, things have been getting a little strange. It was something Luna was starting to notice.

The two spent a lot of time together, whether if it was during school or at Peter's apartment; they were always with one another. Peter took Luna out on two casual dates after their very first special one, but it didn't nearly go as well. Both ended with Peter having to leave in a hurry without so much as a simple explanation. The boy hated doing that to Luna, but he had no other choice whenever his senses would go off like crazy. The danger that he was able to feel wasn't just something he could ignore.

However, it still didn't stop him from feeling horrible with himself for leaving Luna at the local diner with nothing more than a rushed kiss and a lame apology.

Peter constantly felt like he was coming up with excuses, always saying the first thing that came to mind when he had to leave. He appreciated Luna so much for being so understanding, never once complaining or demanding any answers.

Luna was always left confused, but she knew that Peter wouldn't leave if he didn't have a good enough reason to. She trusted Peter, so she chose to just nod along and trust that everything was okay. The girl didn't question him, which was such a relief for Peter.

Peter just felt like shit for lying to her, especially since they had just gotten together. He wasn't spending as much time with his girlfriend as he would like since he always had to leave, and it sucked. Peter figured that maybe he could visit her as Spider-Man like he had a few times before, but he wasn't sure if that would just makes things more difficult.

The whole thing was just hard.

Spider-Man was just about to wrap up his daily shift of soaring through the city. He promised May he would be back in time for dinner, so he knew that he should be heading home.

The boy was already a little late due to loosing track of time, so he wasn't surprised when May started calling him. Peter swung on top of a building, getting into a crouch position as he instructed Karen to push the call through.

"Hey May." Peter spoke.

"Dinner is almost ready Spider boy." He heard the woman's voice radiate through his mask. "Are you heading home?"

"Yeah," the boy replied, looking down to scan the streets. "I'll be there in 10 minutes."

"Okay, but hurry up." May ordered. "I made pot roast and some salad."
