This is Marvel, but the idea's pretty universal, so like don't not read this if you don't like marvel
Nebula's a robot, right? I know she was a human originally, but right now she's basically a machine. And Nebula? Even without her being human or robot or just her corporal form, her character is definitely romantic and asexual.
Obviously no one's outright said it (I think, at least) because marvel's afraid that SoMeBoDy MiGhT bE oFfEnDeD that not everyone's straight. Literally none of them are straight, anyway.
So, continuing... I feel like if I say Nebula's aro ace to my friends I'm out to, it looks like I'm trying to force her into a mold because I'm ace. But if anyone who's allosexual says it, that's fine because they're giving other people recognition. I feel like I'm being greedy.
Which is stupid because it takes a freaking microscope to find aromantic or asexual representation (even Wattpad thinks aromantic isn't a real word), but it's not like my friends have spent hours to find five books with asexual characters, and none of them are in realistic settings.
I know it's not actually greedy, but my problem is if they know or not.

I (VERY creatively) named it coffee
