I want to believe...

Ok first of all, this story is at 20.5K views, so yayyy I love you all.

I've started compiling a list of kids I'm think/hope are ace, and I want to hear your judgement about it, so here it is (They're probably all actually allo, and this is based off of quite a few stereotypes and stuff, but I don't know anyone in real life to find real patterns in how aces act)

1. My squish. I honestly don't think she's ace. On a group chat, one of my friends was trying to get other people to ref soccer with her, and she sent a picture of the other ref to say we should join because there are hot guys. No one said anything for a minute or so after the original friend sent a picture, so the original friend said something like "come on give me something," so my squish said he was hot, but it didn't seem like she really meant it. But later she said "and he has freckles so that's a major plus," so idk. Otherwise, we make make fun of the PDA couples, but I do that with most of my friends.

2. A girl we're going to call Maisie. We're pretty good friends, so that would be fun to have an ace friend who I was already friends with. I think she might be ace because she follows an ace account, but it's only one account. She said something about being asexual last year, but I can't tell if she was joking or being serious. She's a super supportive friend, so she might have just been following that account because she knows the owner. She said guys were hot shirtless one time though, so like...

3. A boy who I'm naming Eitan. We're friends, and first of all, he doesn't seem very allo, but I also think everyone doesn't seem very allo (tbh I unconsciously see people as asexual until proven otherwise). But you know how a lot of aces seem to have more hobbies because we don't have certain things taking up our time? He seems to be too interested in politics to also be interested in sex. He kind of is The Conservative Guy in our grade, but he's not asshole conservative; he has a rational reason for his opinions. Also he seems to be too logical for sexual attraction (this is where the stereotype thing really comes in). Also he doesn't seem interested in girls or guys really (there aren't any non-binary kids in our grade who are out)

4. A boy named Thomas. We're friends, and I just think he's ace because he also doesn't seem very interested in guys or girls.

5. A girl named Ava. So this one's not really just hoping, but I don't know. When I told her I was ace, she said she didn't really feel confortable with the idea of *that* unless it was with her close friends (I use more euphemisms for sex than smut writers use for dick). So I said she might be Demi, and she said she didn't want to deal labels. So I hope so. She's mentioned having crushes, but that means nothing. She talks about sex a lot, but she doesn't seriously objectify people (she'll objectify like dogs or potatoes or random stuff but obviously jokingly). She talks about sex and similar stuff somewhat graphically but it's always in a joking way.

6. My aunt, but she has kids so not really sure... also she's pretty anti-LGBTQ+ so there's no way in hell I'm bringing it up to her

I just want another ace in my life honestly
