I will try to keep this story non-partisan I promise

Alright everybody!! So as I have become a big cool mature kid, I realized it's probably not a good idea to talk about politics here because I want a community and that is dividing. So I would like to just do a quick list of disclaimers (why a list? Because lists are fun)

-This is going to be about American politics

-While in real life I have my own beliefs, I am not going to say anything against any of the candidates or parties

-I made this story with the intention to try and help the community. Key word: community. The most important thing here is having a supportive place, so please also do not say anything against anyone because that will create divides and we do not want that

-I will try to keep politics out of my chapters most of the time

-Okay actually I let politics slip into what I'm writing a lot but I'll try to be not to political most of the time

-This is mainly for Americans of voting age because I figure at least someone must be here that that applies to

If you were going to vote for Bernie Sanders before he dropped out, and now you are not sure what to do, vote for Biden.

I assume if you were voting for Bernie Sanders, you don't want Trump to win. Remember if only five people vote in this country, and three vote for Trump, he will win because majority. Your vote does matter. An alternative way to think about it is that your vote will cancel out someone voting for Trump.

Lets look at the race at the moment:

Trump and Biden are both old white men.

Both have sexual allegations against them.

Neither are extremely left leaning.

However, Trump is aggressively right, and Biden is centrist.

If you elect Biden, he will not pass radical legislation that Trump has passed and wants to pass. He will not nominate very conservative people to the Supreme Court. 

I know you want big change, but that isn't an option. The options right now are 

1. change in the exact opposite direction of what you want 

2. not changing very much

You live in a country that lets you have power over how it is run. It's a tiny amount of power, but you need to use it because that's the only way to get what you want, so please don't not vote

Also talk to your state government or whoever about getting a mail in ballot if COVID-19 is still going on in November because we don't want you to get it !! 

Also make sure your state government allows you to submit mail in ballots late because the increase in mail in ballots has caused delays in the mail, and in some states, the state government has decided that late mail in ballots will not be accepted (not to call out Wisconsin or anything, but Wisconsin), so in those states, none of the mail in ballots are being counted 

OKAY I AM SORRY I AM A HYPOCRITE AND THIS IS VERY PRO DEMOCRAT BUT I PROMISE ILL TRY TO STAY OUT OF POLITICS IN THE FUTURE
