Is it just me or are birthdays the worst day of the year? They are supposed to lucky days where everyone around you is happy, you get presents and it's basically the best day of the year. Not in my eyes. In my eyes, birthdays are a day where you are supposed to be happy and everyone is supposed to say "Happy Birthday" to the birthday human. It's just another day where it marks another whole year that you have been living. It means nothing. It's a day that marks you getting older and reminds us that we have little time left to live. This is why I live in the moment. I'm not taking a day to celebrate life and being older and more likely to die any minute. I'm taking a day to do something that I've always wanted to do. Birthdays mean nothing to me. Not to be negative at all, but I'm really tired of this shit life that we live where everyone thinks the world revolves around them. People wear dresses, get their hair done all fancy, cake their face in makeup, and basically expect everyone to worship them for that whole day. I'm not here for it. None of my birthdays are memorable for me. They all end the same way me being full of cake and ice cream and wanting to go to a gym because of all the weight I'm about to gain.
