Chap. 47 First Move

Naguwi's POV*

We are inside the cafeteria eating silently except Ranusha who keeps talking and flirting with Casval. Tell you what... They are a sore in our eyes. It's so awkward, they do lovey-dovey almost everyday.

"Ranusha, you keep talking like there's no forever" Gaishi said while munching his food. "it's because you guys are so quiet" Ranusha said and rolled her eyes. Gaishi glared at Ranusha so she glared back.

"everyone! Gather up atthe oval! NOW!" Headmaster's voice echoed through the speakers around the corner. We started to walk towards the oval and gathered there. The headmaster walked on the stage, he looked so serious

"the Dark Magicians are attacking from the west wing and east wing of Vasania border! I want you all to fight them. Form into two groups. Mr. Shun Atino and Mr. Anthon Lukine will lead the two separated groups" headmaster said and walked away. A line glowed separating us from the other students

"I will lead this group to the west wing" Mr. Shun said as he pointed the left side of the line and he began to walk towards the west wing of Vasania border as the students followed him. Our group will be heading towards east wing. Our duty as Vasanian students is to enhance our powers and to be able to protect our world.

"Naguwi, is this the reason why the headmaster gave us a mission?" Zura asked. "I don't know" I replied. "a war is going to happen again?" Naisha asked, we went silent. "at least now we are prepared for that" Casval said. I really do hope we can survive the war

*booogsssh*

We are now in front of the Vasanian border. The border began to crack. "We need to do something!" Mr. Anthon said. Naisha began to run in front of the class

Naisha spread her arms and her hands glowed as crystals began to form on the border. 'of course! Naisha wanted to stop the cracking!' I said in my mind. "Help Miss Naisha!" Mr. Anthon said, the ice users began to form a line and helped Naisha.

"we need to go outside the border to fight the Dark magicians!" Mr. Anthon said. I flied at the sky as some air class students followed my lead. "Release Air blades!" I said, they nodded their head as we chant air blades and aim it to the dark magicians

"Let's drown them away!" Mr. Anthon said to the water users. "Let's levitate the them!" I said, we levitate the water users including Mr. Anthon. "Now!" Mr. Anthon shouted as they chant a big tsunami, drowning the dark magicians away from the border

We thought they have given up, but we are wrong. They started to stand up and chant a dark tornados towards the border and to us. "take cover!" Mr. Anthon said. The water users began to chant a bubble shield around us. I looked down making sure if the ice users are fine down there, but the first thing I noticed is their ice began to crack

"Naguwi! Levitate me!" I heard Casval said. I nodded my head and levitate him. He blast his burning fires towards the dark magicians, some dark magicians chanted their water splash preventing the fire to come near them. With their speed of chanting another dark tornados, it hit us making us fall

The water users quickly chant a big bouncy water balloons (not really a balloon) preventing us from hitting the hard ground. It's really comfy like a really soft bed. Before we can even stand up, the ice on the border began to break apart. "this is bad!" Zura said.

"we need to think something quickly!" Mr. Anthon said panicking. I stood up and think what would Urara do in this kind of situation. Then a flashback where me and Urara are still in the orphanage hitted me

~flashback~

We are lost in a forest, I looked at Lil sis if she is crying or not. I found her looking around like she is finding something. "what's in your mind?" I asked, she looked at me and smiled. "what do you think about this little forest?" she asked. "messy and really a headache finding our way out" I replied

"plants are good defense towards water, altho, plants are weaker towards air, fire, too much light and darkness.... Your only solution to prevent air, fire, and water attacks is water itself... In short, a water barrier" she said making me look at her with furrowed brows. "what are you saying?" I asked confusedly

"Naguwi... Belive me, you need this knowledge someday" Urara said with a smile, I didn't get her but listened to her. "a water barrier?" I asked, she nodded her head. "what about sun light? Would sun evaporate the water with also the help of the wind?" I asked, she smiled.

"silly... They can't use light, but if 'they' attack in day time, block the sun... I know that someday you will know how to make that happen with the help of fire" she said, making me so confused

~flashback ended~

"a water barrier!" I said out of the blue, they looked at me with furrowed brows. "we need a water barrier against their attacks to our border" I said. "let's try that way" Mr. Anthon said. The air users including me, levitate the water users again. The water users began to chant a water barrierto the other side of the border, preventing the dark magicians to break the border.

We took covered and landed on the ground gently. 'I hope this works.... Now... For the clouds' I said to my mind. "air users! We need to block the sun from evaporating our water barrier!" I announced. The fire users began to chant a big fire as we, the air users, controled the smoke and blocked the sun

An air user took a peek to the other side of the border and said, the dark magicians have retreated. Disabled our magics and took a rest. We lost a lot of mana. "there is no need to mind about the cracks of the border... The older will take care of it, as for now, go back to the academy and rest" Mr. Anthon said as we began to walk towards the academy

'who really are you Urara... If it is not for you.... We could've lost... Thank you for it....' I said my mind.
