Victor is with Daniel and Samantha, discussing about the renewal of the contract with one of their client, The Stir Up Bar and Restaurant. The said establishment is one of their loyal clients for its wine' and liquior.
"Are you sure, you want to give seven percent discount for The Stir Up Bar and Restaurant, Victor? Five percent lang yan last year ah, paano natin mababawi yun?" Samantha said.
"Based sa study ng marketing team, ok lang naman since TSU added two branches since last contract natin. According to them, it will not hurt us even we give increase the discount from five to seven percent." Victor explained.
"The two branches are not solely owned by the old Concio. I heard sosyo na sila nung anak nya sa dalawang bagong branches. We cannot bank on their new branches, hindi tayo sigurado na exclusive na sa atin lang sila kukuha ng mga wines and spirits nila. We are not sure with the connection of the younger Concio." Daniel said.
"I already spoke with Carlos Concio and he commits that he will retain the same suppliers as their other branches." Victor replied.
"I did not know that you had a meeting with him, hindi mo nabanggit sa akin na makikipag-meeting ka sa kanya." Daniel said
"That was an informal discussion bro, remember nung sinundo mo si Mama at yung mga bata sa isang charity event at nauna kami nila Laura sa party ng anak ni Alfred at Natalie, he was there too and I happen to have a chat with him." Victor said.
"But it is Beatrice who is the one taking care of the two new branches and hindi si Carlos, Kuya." Daniel said.
"I'm sorry Mr. President, I guess I have to take a look at this proposal one more time. Let me check kung hindi tayo malulugi sa additional two percent discount. Not because we are earning pretty well, mamimigay na tayo ng discount sa mga clients natin." Samantha said
"But they are loyal clients, Sam" Victor said
"Despite them being a loyal clients Victor, kabawasan pa rin yun sa income natin therefore let's be careful in giving out discounts to our clients." Samantha said.
"I agree with Samantha, Kuya." Daniel said.
"Alright, since I am out voted, go ahead Samantha, that is your expertise anyway." Victor said
"Great, I need to go now cousins, para maumpisahan ko nang i-review ang renewal ng contract ng TSU." Samantha said. "See you later guys." She added then headed off the President's office.
When Samantha left, Daniel throws a meaningful stare at his brother. "Anong ibig sabihin ng mga tingin na yan Daniel Theodore?" Victor asked.
"Buti na lang wala dito si Laura, malamang taas na naman ang kilay nun kung narinig ka sa mga pagtatanggol mo sa TSU. Does my sister in law knows who is Beatrice again?" Daniel said teasing.
"Malisyoso ka talaga Daniel, alam ni Laura na purely business lang ang discussion about TSU. And yes she also knows that Beatrice was a good friend way back in high school." Victor said.
"Good friend lang ba talaga, Kuya?" Daniel maliciously asked.
"Yes good friend lang, I never courted her, if that's what you want to know. Laura knows Beatrice, naging classmate ni Althea yung anak nya." Victor said.
"Yung babae o yung lalaki?" Daniel asked.
"Yung babae yata" Victor asked.
"Bakit mas acquainted si Althea dun sa lalaking anak ni Beatrice?" Daniel asked.
