“Daddy, according to Thirdy he will be here in five minutes. Nandyan na daw sya sa gate ng subdivision.” Althea told Victor an information which definitely shocks the latter.
“Hmmm… impressive gesture.” Laura commented which gains a sharp stare from Victor.
“You are my wife, you should be on my side.” Victor uttered.
“I am always on your side, Love. I just see sincerity in Thirdy.” Laura replied.
“But I can tell him na wag na lang syang tumuloy.” Althea said.
“Andyan na rin lang sya, bakit pipigilin pa. Besides, he is not coming here for you Althea Marie. He is coming to apologize to your Mom. Labas ka dito, therefore you may go to your room now young lady.” Victor said.
“But Daddy …” Althea begins protesting.
“Go to your room now, Althea Marie. And hindi ka lalabas hangga’t hindi kita pinapatawag.” Victor said.
“Can I just stay in my art room. At least my time will not be wasted there instead of staying in my room and watch Netflix.” Althea asked.
“Suit yourself baby. For now, you are forbidden to come in the living room while your friend and I talk.” Victor firmly said.
“Okay, Daddy. Excuse me please.” Althea replied before she sadly walks to her art room.
“Bakit hindi pwedeng mag-stay si Althea habang kinakausap natin si Thirdy? I don’t see anything wrong if she listens to our conversation.” Laura said.
“Correction, Ri. Our conversation, which means the talk is only between Thirdy and I.” Victor said.
“Bakit hindi ako kasali? He is coming to apologize to me.” Laura said.
“And you said hindi naman na kailangang mag-apologize sya sa iyo. Therefore hindi na rin kailangan na nandito ka.” Victor replied.
“You are shutting me off again.” Laura fiercely said.
“I am not, Ri. This is a man-to-man talk, so wala kang kinalaman dito. And do not throw tantrums because it won’t work. You know I will tell you everything we talked about, you don’t have to be here to personally hear it.” Victor said.
“Alright, but make sure to take it easy on him. Or else, lagot ka talaga sa akin.” Laura said.
“Ano ba ang ipinakain ng batang yun sa inyo? Why all my girls are crushing on that Thirdy boy?” Victor commented.
“I don’t know about Althea, Lauren and Carrie. Pero ako alam ko kung bakit crush ko si Thirdy.” Laura said.
“Care to tell me why?” Victor asked.
“Because that Thirdy boy reminds me of someone I met in Italy when I was nineteen years old. Maybe that is the reason why the three girls are fond of him, too. We see Victor Monteiro in him. He is gwapo, very polite and heart warming. Kaya nga nagka-crush ako sa iyo noon eh, kasi gwapo ka, very polite din kay Lola at sobrang heart warming.” Laura said which gains her a huge smile from Victor.
“Napakilig mo ako, Ri. But that does not mean you can join me in my talk with that Thirdy boy. Hindi pa rin pwede.” Victor said.
“Ma’am, Sir, may naghahanap po sa inyo. Yung kaibigan po ni ma’am Althea.” The guard suddenly came and informed them.
“Let him in.” Victor said. “And that is your cue, Ri. I’m sure Nathan is already looking for you.” Victor said.
