As soon as Thirdy arrives home in Sta. Rosa, he immediately calls Althea for a video call which the latter immediately answers after three rings.  He thought of dropping by at Monteiro Mansion to bring his gifts for Althea but he opted not to because he does not want to arrive in Monteiro Mansion unannounced.

“Welcome back to the real world, Richard Reyes III.” Althea greeted as soon as she connects to the video call.

“Grabe, ibang mundo na ang Cebu?” Thirdy commented.  “How are you Thea?  Kamusta ang training mo sa MGOC?” he asked.

“It’s funny that you asked me about my training, as if we don’t talk about it everyday.” Althea said.

“Well, I am referring to your training for today.” Thirdy replied.

“That was smooth, hindi halatang pahiya ka.” Althea said, giggling.  “Anyway, today is as good as yesterday.  Isinama ako ni Ms. Alice sa planta where we make our wines.  That was an amazing experience. I get to see how our products are being made.” Althea said.

“Hey, that really is an amazing experience.  Sana I get to see how wines are being made, too.” Thirdy said.

“That can be arranged.  You have to ask permission from the President.” Althea replied.

“Then, go and asked permission to your dad in my behalf.” Thirdy said.

“Ikaw ang may gusto ng ganong experience, di ba?  Bakit hindi ikaw ang humingi ng permiso?” Althea said.

“Daddy mo yung president, di ba? Bakit hindi ikaw ang magpaalam para sa akin.” Thirdy said.

“Ewan ko sa ‘yo, Thirdy.  Itigil na natin ang topic na ‘to at malamang kung saan na naman tayo mapupunta nyan eh.” Althea said.

“How about the issue of irregularities that you noticed in different stores, have you talked to your Dad about it?” Thirdy asked.

“I already submitted my report to Ms. Alice, about the discrepancy in the store manual against the actual practice.” Althea said.

“So how does she find it?” Thirdy asked.

“I haven’t got any feedback from her.  She and my Dad are so busy preparing for the board meeting next week.” Althea said.

“I see, by the way, naka-enroll ka na ba?” Thirdy asked.

“Not yet, hinihintay kita eh, para sabay na lang tayo, anyway pareho naman na tayo ng strand di ba, since you decided to take over your family business in the future.” Althea said.

“Thea, STEM pa rin ang strand na kukunin ko.  I’m sorry if I was unable to tell you.  Nawala lang sa isip kong sabihin sa iyo.” Thirdy said.

“Are you saying na nagbago na ulit ang isip mo?  Ang gulo mo Thirdy, what’s the use of your training in Royalties Manila kung hindi ka rin naman pala tutuloy to handle the business.” Althea asked.

“Ang sabi ng Dad ko, I can take the course that I want, since I am one of the heir, I don’t need to meet the required educational attainment to gain the position, kaya tuloy ang STEM strand ko.” Thirdy said.
