59 - Complain

The Monteiros and the Reyeses spend their Sunday in a normal way. Victor and Laura would not like their three young children to know what happened to Althea.  They saw how Althea got affected at the incident.  The eldest Monteiro choose to stay in her art room at the comfort of her art works.

"That is beautiful, baby." Laura said when she bring snack for Althea.

"You think so, Mommy?" Althea said.

"Kaya lang parang nakagawa ka na ng ganyan, baby." Laura commented.

"Yes po, this is the same as the one we were looking for in the storage room." Althea said. "I decided to make a new one. I don't want to go back to that storage room again." She said.

"Yes, baby. Do not go back to that storage room again." Laura said and kisses Althea on top of her head. "Why are you making another one, baby?" She asked.

"Do you think Tita Dei will like this? I want Thirdy to have this as his birthday gift to his Mom." Althea said.

"I'm sure she will like that. Yesterday, she keeps on telling me about her admiration on your art works." Laura replied.

"I should have not accepted Thirdy's challenge, Mommy.  Hindi sana nangyari yun sa amin Thirdy." Althea said.

"Do not blame yourself, Baby. Maybe it happened for you to be more careful next time. Don't worry, your Daddy will take care of everything. We will make sure to teach those girls the lesson that they will not forget for the rest of their lives." Laura said.

First thing in the morning, the next day, Victor drives his and Daniel’s children to school.  This is the day he will formally file his complain for Marga, Joanne and Scarlet.  Richard is already waiting for him at the reception area in the principal’s office when he arrived.

Mrs. Torres, the school principal attended to the two presidents in her office after the school’s flag ceremony.   The complain is no longer new to her as one of the school administrators, Michael have reported to her the incident the night it occurred.

“I deeply apologized Mr. Monteiro and Mr. Reyes on what happened to your children last Friday.  We are expecting and fully understand your complain.  However, please also understand the school’s protocol to conduct an investigation on the incident.  Rest assured I am on top of it and we will give you the result within this week.” Mrs. Torres told Richard and Victor.

“What investigation are you talking about? Wasn’t it clear that our children’s lives were put in danger because of those bratty students of yours?” Richard asked.

“We want those brats be expelled, we are not certain what else they are capable of doing.  The students are no longer safe in this school if you have students like them.” Victor straightly uttered.

“Again, Mr. Monteiro, our school policy states to conduct an investigation of the incident before we sanction the students involved.  We need to get the side of both parties before we come up with the sanction.” Mrs. Torres further explained.

“So while you are conducting the investigation those girls are free to do the same thing to any of the students here?  We are expecting an immediate action here Mrs. Torres.  We are not talking about a simple act of bullying but two lives were put in danger because of their actions.” Richard said.
