28 - Family Day

The family day is the yearly event of their school. This is one of the biggest school events wherein all students busied themselves in preparation of the event.

Like in their foundation day, the project of the Art club in collaboration with the ITOrg team is one of the well appreciated booths.

Victor could not hide his happiness as he knows how his daughter together her team works hard to deliver what was expected by the school's event committee. He could not contain to brag about Althea work to most of his colleagues that he sees during the school event.

"I know I was the one in the marketing field, bakit parang ikaw na ang agent nung booth nila Althea?" Laura started to tease her husband Victor.

"I am just proud of their work and I know how much effort they put into that project. Grabe na talaga ang technology ngayon." Victor said.

"I know Daddy, but if you will ask me, I still prefer my brush and my canvas." Althea said.

"I cannot argue with that baby, you know better than I do because I do not have that artistic side in me." Victor replied.

"But thanks for appreciating our works Daddy. And thank you for allowing us to work in our house." Althea said and Victor gains a tight hug from her.

"You are welcome, baby." Victor replied and kisses her on her temple.

"Daddy, can we go outside? Nathan would like to see our soccer field." Vino then asked Victor.

"Of course, Kuya Vino. Basta ingatan lang si Nathan ha. Maraming tao, wag mo syang bibitawan at baka mawala." Victor replied.

"Yes, Daddy. Let's go Nathan. Hawak ka lang kay Kuya ha." Vino said before they walk going to the soccer field.

"I'll go and check on the girls, nasa culinary booth sila Lauren and Carrie." Laura said.

"Ok, dito lang muna ako. I would like to see how people admire the work of my daughter." Victor said. Laura smiles and walks away from the booth shooking her head. "Go ahead baby, do not mind me. Do what your team has to do. I'll be fine here." He told Althea.

"Ok Dad. Enjoy ka lang dyan, punta lang kami ni Bria sa Art room." Althea said.

"Victor." Someone calls and when he looks at the direction of the owner of the voice, Victor sees Carlos Concio smiling widely while he walks towards him.

"Hello Carlos, good to see you here. This is the first time I saw you attending the family day." Victor said.

"Yeah, walang tinamaang out-of-town trip. Alam mo naman, our work should come first kasi yun ang bumubuhay ng pamilya natin." Carlos said. "What are you doing here? Why are you not going around? I am seeing a lot of our collegues here. Kung alam ko lang na ganito ang event na ito, I should have attended this years ago." He continued talking.

"I'll go around later, nag-eenjoy pa akong panoorin ang mga batang ito. It's nice to see their arts works created using the latest technology." Victor said.

"I did not know na may artistic side ka pala, Victor." Carlos said.

"I don't have an artistic side, Carlos, but my daughter does. Infact, these are their works. Look at these, magaganda hindi ba?" Victor started bragging.

"Yes, I heard Althea is the president of their school's art club. My Emilia also belongs to that club right?" Carlos said.

"Yes, Emilia is one of the member of the Art Club. According to Althea, she sees potential in your daughter, that's why she welcomes her to their organization." Victor said.
