12 - Madam Chairman

Laura and Victor froze after Yaya told them that Althea is not in her room. They don't want to think that Althea runaway but the truth screams that she did runaway. Victor immediately walks to guard and talked to him.

"Guard, nakita mo ba si Althea na umalis?" Victor asked.

"Opo Sir, maaga pa pong umalis si ma'am Althea, siguro mga bago mag-alas singko. Pupunta daw po sya sa mansion kasi maaga daw po silang aalis ni Madam Chairman. Sinundan ko pa nga po ng tingin habang naglalakad papunta sa mansion. Saka lang po ako bumalik dito nung nakarating na po sya sa harap ng mansion." the guard reply.

Without second thought, Victor dials Daniel's number to check on Althea while praying that Althea indeed went to the mansion and not somewhere else. He could not reprimand the guard on duty because they usually allow their kids to go to the mansion from their house.

"Hello Kuya, ang aga naman ng tawag mo." Daniel said from the other line.

"Nandyan ba si Althea?" Victor quickly asked

"Hindi sya nagpupunta dito." Daniel replied.

"Where is Mama, baka magkasama sila." Victor said, while he trembles as so much things run into his mind.

"Mama is having breakfast with the kids in the garden at sigurado akong wala si Althea dun." Daniel replied. "What is happening Kuya?" he worriedly asked.

"Wag kang aalis, papunta na ako dyan. Wag mo munang sabihin kay Mama." Victor said and immediately hungs-up.

"Wala si Althea sa mansion?" Laura asked.

"Yes, have you tried calling her? May tracking device nga pala ang phone nya. Check mo yung location nya." Victor asked.

"Yes, pero naka-off ang phone nya. Love, saan kaya nagpunta si Althea, baka kung ano ang mangyari sa kanya." Laura said while sobbing.

"Pupunta ako sa mansion. Mag-uusap kami ni Daniel, we need to find her." Victor said.

"Sasama ako, wait for me at magbibihis lang ako." Laura said and fastly walks inside to change.

"What is happening Daddy?" Vino asked. "Bakit umalis si Ate Althea nang hindi nagpapaalam? Nagtanan ba sya?" he continued asking.

"I do not know son. But for now, can you do me a favor Vino?" Victor asked and Vino nodded. "Please tell the driver to bring you and Lauren to school, hindi ko kayo maihahatid ngayon. I have to find your Ate Althea." He replied and the more he got scared about on the idea that Althea eloped.

"Can I go with you sa paghahanap kay Ate, Daddy?" Vino asked.

"No son, your studies comes first. Kaya na namin ng Mommy mo 'to. Baka nagpunta lang si Ate mo sa mga friends nya." Victor said.

"Ok, I understand." Vino sadly replied.

"Thanks son, I know I can count on you in times like this." Victor said. "Don't worry, I will tell you everything kapag nakita na naming ang Ate mo. For now, school comes first and you need to go para hindi kayo ma-late ni Lauren." He further said.

"Ok po Daddy. And for your peace of mind, I take back what I said earlier. I don't think na magtatanan si Ate, she has so many dreams and for her that is more important than getting into a relationship." Vino smartly said.

"I believe that too, son." Victor said when Laura arrived.

"Let's go Love." Laura said. "Vin, can you take care of Lauren for now?" she asked.
