Laura is shaking while dialing Daniel's number and her tears did not stop streaming down her cheeks. She has a very bad feeling about what is happening. Althea already learned her lesson about answering her phone and it is very unlikely for Althea to lie about going on a group study much more use her friends to get her approval.
"Hello, Daniel can you please drop by here sa house. We have a situation and I don't want Allie to panic." Laura said while trembling.
"What is happening, Laura. Bakit ka umiiyak?" Daniel asked.
"Si Althea hindi pa umuuwi, ilang beses ko nang tinawagan pero hindi naman sumasagot. Punta ka na lang dito, please. Samahan mo si Victor na hanapin si Althea. And please, Daniel, wag mo na munang sasabihin kay Allie." Laura said.
"Sige, papunta na ako dyan." Daniel replied before he hungs up.
"Bakit ka pupunta kila Kuya? May problema ba?" Allona asked.
"I don't know what is going on, hindi sinabi ni Laura kung bakit basta pinapapunta lang nya ako." Daniel said.
"I will go with you." Allona said.
"Huh? No need, Hon. Tatawagan na lang kita kapag alam ko na ang problema." Daniel said.
"I don't believe you don't know what is going on. Is this about Althea? May nangyari ba kay Althea?" Allona asked.
"What are you saying? Hindi ko pa nga alam what is going on. Dito ka na lang muna, the kids might need you here." Daniel said.
"If it is not about Althea, then why are you shutting me off?" Allona asked.
"Hon, walang kasama ang mga bata dito kaya mas mabuting dito ka na lang." Daniel said.
"Anthony, Almira and Vino can take care of themselves. The helpers are here to attend to their needs. Papatayin mo ako sa pag-aalala kapag iniwan mo ako dito." Allona asked. "Believe me, Hon. I have a different feeling, may hindi magandang nangyayari kay Althea." Allona said as she started crying.
"Calm down, hayaan mo muna akong pumunta sa bahay nila Kuya. I promise you, as soon as malaman ko ang problema tatawagan kita agad." Daniel said.
"Alright, I will wait for your call. If within fifteen minutes at hindi ka pa tumatawag, pupuntahan kita sa bahay nila Kuya Victor." Allona said.
"I will call you, that's a promise." Daniel said then he runs going to Victor and Laura's house. "Kuya, what is going on? Ano yung sinasabi ni Laura na hindi pa umuuwi si Althea?" Daniel as soon as he enters Victor's house.
"We have been calling her several times but she is not picking-up. We called her friends and all of them said that they did not see Althea when they leave the school. They thought nauna na si Althea na umuwi." Victor explained.
"Hindi ba sya sinundo?" Daniel asked.
"She called me earlier to ask permission about having a group study sa house ni Krissy. Sabi ya wag na syang sunduin sa school at kay Krissy na lang sya sasabay. Tatawag na lang daw sya kapag magpapasundo na sya sa house ni Krissy. But when I called Krissy, hindi daw nya kasama si Althea kasi wala si Althea sa meeting place nila. She presume na hindi ko pinayagan si Althea sa group study nila." Laura explained.
"Have you tried calling her other friends?" Daniel asked.
"I already called Bria, Lexi and Shane. Lahat sila hindi alam kung nasaan si Althea. Sila lang naman ang close friends ni Althea." Laura replied.
