After her family visit to Mamita and Grandma Lorena in Italy, Althea's training days increases from once per to three days per week to take advantage of the school vacation. After her stint in the store, Victor and Daniel decided to continue her training in the MGOC office for her to learn the in and outs of the business.
Alice is assigned to guide her during her training period at MGOC. The President's executive assistant, roam her around the MGOC head office. She makes sure that Althea will be familiar with the different teams as well as their role in the company.
"How is she, Alice?" Victor asked his EA while the latter waits for him to finish signing some documents.
"Mas impressive sya kesa sa inyong dalawa ni Daniel." Alice replied.
"In case you forgot, may I remind you that you are talking to the president, Alice. Don't you think you should choose your words?" Victor said.
"I know that and I mean no offense. But I am telling the truth, Sir Victor. I did not see that kind of dedication to you, much more with Daniel when you were being trained by the Chairman." Alice said. "She is more like Madam Chairman. She is very smart but warm, though I have to admit that her dedication at work is more like you." She further commented.
"At least I heard you say something nice about me." Victor uttered.
"Sana, I will get to work with her in the future. Medyo matagal pa ang hihintayin ko para maging boss ko sya." Alice said.
"Are you saying that you are availing of the early retirement program, Alice?" Victor asked.
"I have no plan of retiring early, Mr. President. What I am saying is, by the time Althea assumes the presidency, baka retired na ako." Alice said. "Pero ikaw, bata ka pa after six years, mas hindi bagay sa iyong magretire agad, pagka-graduate ni Althea sa college." She added.
"I am not giving her the position as soon as she graduated in college. I want to personally guide her on how to manage the business." Victor said.
"Yun naman ang tama, mas maganda talaga kung kayo ni Daniel ang magtuturo kay Althea at sa mga iba nyo pang mga anak ng tungkol sa negosyo." Alice said.
"I need an honest opinion, Alice. Tama bang umpisahan na ni Althea ang training nya this early? She in only sixteen, should enjoy her youth and yet here she is in the office to prepare for her future position in the company. It's summer vacation, and yet she is working." Victor said.
"Hindi tama kung pipilitin nyo sya. From what I heard from Madam Chairman, si Althea ang may gustong mag-umpisa na ng training nya." Alice said.
"Yeah, hesitant pa nga kami ni Laura na payagan sya na mag-training sa store." Victor said.
"But it seems, she is enjoying it. Kahit naman ngayon, I can see how interested she is based on the questions she throws at each team na ipinapakilala ko sa kanya." Alice said.
"That's good to hear." Victor uttered. "So what is her assignment for today?" he asked.
"I asked her to read the basic manuals, madali na nyang maiintindihan yun kasi may experience naman na sya sa store." Alice said.
