Victor and Laura are checking on their emails when Althea with a long face abruptly enters the library which also serves as their office. They prefer to observe Althea's behavior for a moment to gauge what is happening to the eldest Monteiro daughter.
Althea took a book from the bookshelf then sat on the couch and started scanning the book. After a while she closed the book and put it back in the bookshelf in exchange of another book. She again scanned and book then returned it after a while.
"Would you like to talk about it?" Laura could not help but ask.
"Mommy, Daddy, what are you doing here?" Althea surprisedly asked.
"Working." Laura replied. "I can't believe you did not see us, Baby. You seem troubled, are you alright?" Laura asked.
"You were saying something, Mommy?" Althea asked in return.
"What is bothering you, baby?" Victor asked.
"I'm fine, Daddy." Althea lazily replied.
"You are not." Victor declared. "Kanina ka pa ganyan. Kahit sa dinner table tahimik ka lang. Do you think we did not noticed?" He said.
"You know you can tell us if something is troubling you, Baby." Laura said.
"Okay lang po ako. I was just pissed-off at Santino earlier." Althea replied.
"And what did that Concio Boy do to you?" Victor asked.
"Ang angas eh, nakakairita." Althea said.
"Baka gusto mong sabihin sa amin what pisses you off. Nakakagaang ng pakiramdam yun." Laura said.
"I can't believe na naiirita ka pa sa angas ni Santino, di ba dapat sanay ka na sa kanya?" Victor said.
"I agree with you, Love. Ngayon mo lang ba nalaman na nakakairita ang angas ni Santino, Baby?" Laura asked.
"Alam ko naman yun, Mommy. But today was different. First he was bragging that he texted Marga to stop spreading malicious rumours about me and Thirdy, on the same day Marga, Joanne and Scarlet apologized to me because Eloisa told them so. Imagine ang kapal ng mukha i-claim na sya ang dahilan why Marga published the apology post." Althea said.
"Pwede namang his text message to Marga triggers that apology post. We really do not know, Baby." Laura said to play devil's advocate.
"And he was humble enough so he thought it was no longer necessary to tell you about his action." Victor seconded.
"Humble??? Excuse me, Daddy, wala sa dugo ng mga Concio ang humility." Althea said.
"I think that statement is not proper." Laura said.
"But she is telling the truth." Victor said in support to Althea's statement.
"I know that, Love. But it is still improper." Laura uttered while sharply gazing at Victor.
"Imagine, Mommy, he was bad mouthing, Thirdy." Althea uttered which makes Laura's eyebrow lifted a bit.
