Richard and Victor did not leave the school and waited for the parents of the three girls to arrive. The close door meeting is attended by the students involve, their parents, the guidance councilor and the principal. Each student were given a chance to air their side of the story.
“We went to the storage room because Althea asked us to come with her and help her find her old painting.” Scarlet said to give her side of the story.
“We were actually hesitant because we are not certain that she got permission from Ms. Santos to enter the storage room.” Joanne seconded.
“But we choose to help her because she is our friend.” Marga said.
“You don’t do mean things to the person you called your friend.” Thirdy fiercely uttered and Richard taps his hand signaling to calm down and let the three girls talk.
“I’m sorry, Thirdy but you had your chance to tell us your story earlier. Let them speak so we would know their side of the story.” Mrs. Torres said. “Please continue, girls.” Mrs Torres said.
“When we reach the storage room, we found it opened so the four of us went inside.” Marga said.
“But I got frightened so I told them that I cannot help them anymore.” Scarlet continue telling them the story.
“The room is so creepy that’s why I decided not to stay, too. So followed Scarlet outside and I told Marga and Althea that we will just wait for them outside.” Joanne seconded.
“Marga, if you were left inside the room with Althea, how come only she was locked-up inside the storage room.” Mrs. Torres asked.
“Althea told me that I don’t need to help her in searching for her old painting. She said Bria is on her way and she will just wait for her. She told me that I can leave with Joanne and Scarlet. I was hesitant to leave her alone because like what Joanne said, the room is really very creepy. I actually admire Althea for being very brave. I was scared, too. But since we were together, I thought it was alright for us to proceed with searching her painting.” Marga said.
“When did you decided to leave her?” Mrs. Torres asked.
“I got a text message from our driver saying that he already arrived and we need to leave immediately because my Mom was waiting for me at the salon. I have no choice but to leave her alone in the storage room. I did not know that Thirdy was also inside the storage room and I have no idea if they talked about meeting there, and Althea used the three of us to make it look like we were just in search for her old painting. I don’t know what happened next after the three of us left her alone in the storage room.” Marga replied.
“You are lying.” Althea exclaimed.
“Please Althea, let them speak.” Mrs. Torres said.
“To tell you honestly, Mrs. Torres. We do not know why our girls were dragged in this kind of scandal. My daughter and her friends were just trying to be nice with Althea but it seems they were used to cover a malicious scandal that she and Thirdy created.” Marga’s mother said.
“I understand your concern Mrs. Valdez.” Mrs. Torres said. “Is there anything else that you want to add on Marga’s statement, Joanne and Scarlet.” She then asked the other girls.
“That is all, Madam Principal.” Joanne replied.
“I don’t have anything to add, Madam Principal.” Scarlet also replied.
