Althea thought that nothing should change after she learned the truth about her parentage. She believes that staying with Victor and Laura is the best set-up for all of them because they all admit how the children of Victor and Laura are close with each other. It will certainly confuse them, if she suddenly transfers to the Monteiro mansion. She asked Victor and Laura to keep the truth from their children except with Vino. Victor and Laura give the freedom to Althea in telling Vino the truth.
Her first day of training in the store was moved the next Saturday as Daniel and Allie requested to spend a day with Althea that Saturday.
"Thank you for spending this day with us baby." Daniel told Althea while he drives going to the mall with Allona and the latter.
"I was hoping that we could do this out of town but I know you need to prepare for school since you miss your class yesterday." Allona said.
"Maybe next time Mama Allie." Althea replied.
"I have a better idea, why don't we have a short road trip to Tagaytay. Bumalik tayo sa secret hiding place nyo ni Mamita." Daniel suggested.
"Why do you like to go back there, Dad?" Althea asked.
"Well, Naisip ko lang naman na baka may gusto ka pang itanong sa amin ng Mama mo. Ask us everything that you want to know, sasagutin ko anak." Daniel said.
"I like the idea Hon. Finally, I have been wanting to cook for her, pwede ko syang ipagluto kung nasa rest house tayo sa Tagaytay." Allona said.
"I don't have problem with that idea too, Dad. Maybe while Mama is preparing the food, you could tell me your love story." Althea said.
"Medyo kinabahan ako, baby. Parang mas gusto ko na, ako na lang ang magkwento ng love story namin ng Dad mo." Allona protested.
"Tayong dalawa ang magku-kwento kay Althea, Hon. I will help you in preparing our food while we tell her our love story." Daniel said.
"Wow this is going to be exciting." Althea said.
"Do you have the keys with you, baby? Kailangan ba nating bumalik sa mansion?" Daniel asked.
"The security of the house is thru biometrics Dad. My finger is one of the keys." Althea replied.
"Wow, ang galing naman ng nabiling rest house ni Mama." Allona reacted.
"I requested that type of security to Mamita, because I'm afraid that I might misplace the keys, or Mommy might see it." Althea said.
"Iba talaga kapag kayo ng Mamita mo ang nag-tandem eh." Daniel said then he makes a turn to take the express way going to Tagaytay.
They had a stopover in the market to buy the ingredients for the dish they planned to have at lunchtime. Althea sends a message to Victor and Laura as well as to Madam Chairman that they prefer to spend the day at the Tagaytay. The three of them, immediately went straight to the kitchen to start preparing their lunch.
"I can't believe that we travel to Tagaytay to cook adobo?" Daniel commented chuckling.
"We came here to spend time with our daughter. Cooking adobo is just a bonus." Allona said.
"On our way here, you said that I can ask you anything that I want to know about you. Can I start asking now?" Althea asked.
"Go ahead baby, bring it on." Daniel said in full confidence.
"How did you guys met?" Althea asked.
"My cousin and your Dad were race car drivers. He introduced us to each other." Allona quickly replied.
