Akala mo ba hindi ko napansin na yung last charity event, hindi nyo pinuntahan ni Vino, kasi hindi pupunta si Thirdy?" Laura said.
"Nagkataoon lang yun, Mom. Busy lang kami ni Thirdy in preparation for the final exam. Ayaw naman ni Vino na pumunta sa event kung hindi ako kasama." Althea explained.
"Wala ka ba talagang sasabihin sa akin, baby?" Laura asked again.
"Thirdy talked to me a fews ago." Althea said.
"About what?" Laura asked.
"He told me that he likes me." Althea said.
"Wow, he is such a brave young man. Ano ang isinagot mo?" Laura asked.
"Nothing, hindi naman daw sya manliligaw, he just want me to know." Althea replied.
"How could that be? He likes you, pero enough nang alam mo, then the next move depends on you? That's absurd." Laura commented.
"It is not that, Mommy. Sabi nya kasi, he heard Daddy talking to Santino about pursuing me. Narinig daw nya na after I graduated high school pa ako pwedeng tumanggap ng suitors. Is that true, Mommy. Did Santino really talked to Dad about pursuing me?" Althea asked.
"Yes he did. And Thirdy heard it right, sinabi nga ng Daddy mo kay Santino na hindi ka pa naming pinapayagan na tumanggap ng manliligaw. Bakit wala pa bang sinasabi si Santino sa iyo?" Laura said.
"Nothing, madalas naman pinupuntahan nya si Emilia sa art room, pero hi and hello lang kami." Althea said.
"Kung wala pa syang sinasabi sa iyo, bakit kinausap na nya ang Daddy mo?" Laura asked.
"I don't know, siguro naisip nya na wag na lang munang sabihin sa akin, since after senior high school pa naman ako pwedeng magpaligaw." Althea said.
"At iba naman ang style nitong si Thirdy, but I still believe that he should also talk to your Dad about his intention, kahit pa alam nya na hindi pa pwede ngayon na ligawan ka." Laura said. "Pero hindi pa nasasagot ang tanong ko, baby. What happen after he talked to you? Bakit mas naging close kayo ngayon? Binigyan mo ba ng pag-asa? If that's the case, the more na dapat nyang kausapin ang Daddy mo, because if he will not do that, babawiin ko yung sinabi ko na he is such a brave young man." She added.
