She wrapped bandages all over her arm and her leg and dapped her cuts on her head with a warm, wet towel. She looked horrible. Her eyes were shut, her body barely moving a muscle, and she could hear a faint heartbeat. She was alive at least. That was a good sign.

Catra was knocked out cold. It was a really rough battle between the Alliance and the Horde. Catra must have fallen out of a skiff when the Horde retreated back to the Fright Zone. Adora saw her head near a rock, bleeding. If she didn't bring her back to Bright Moon for aid, she probably could have died.

Catra's eyes began to flutter open. She groaned and held her head only to feel pain in her arm.

"You took a really rough landing back there," Adora said, taping the bandage tight enough.

"Hey, Adora. Where am I and why is it all pink and sparkly?" Catra asked, looking around Adora's room.

"Bright Moon."

"Of all the places, I could have woken up to, it had to be the home of Sparkles and her sidekick."

Adora rolled her eyes and slightly smiled. "First, their names are Glimmer and Bow-"

"Don't care, Sparkles fits her better."

Adora signed. "And second of all, I brought you here because you could have died back there. I may be the enemy but I couldn't just leave you there."

"I didn't ask for your help." Catra looked down at her bandages.

"That never stopped me before, right?"

"What do you want, Adora?"

"Nothing. I'm just helping out an old friend who's been injured a bit too harshly. There is absolutely nothing wrong with that."

"I don't need you to help me. What don't you get about that?"

"Why are being so stubborn?" Adora said, firmly. "I'm only trying to help."

"Why do you care about what happens to me?"

"I have my reasons."

"Look, princess," Catra said, pushing her finger to her chest. "I can take care of myself. I've been doing fine on my own. Just leave me alone."

"I'm not leaving until you listen!" Adora said, swiping her finger down.

"I said, leave me alone!" Catra said, pushing Adora with her claws.

Catra's claws accidentally scratched Adora's face, leaving a visible scar. Adora squealed in pain when she felt her sharp claws slice her. Catra saw what she had done. Adora touched her cheek where she was scratched and blood ended up on her hand.

"It's okay it's only a few drops." Adora chuckled lightly.

Adora heard soft weeps. Catra wipes tears away from her face. Catra didn't mean to hit her face. She was just aggressive. She just wanted to be alone.

"Catra, if you want, I'll leave you," Adora said as she got up.  As soon as she got up, she felt a hand grab her's and squeezed it. Catra was now on her knees, crying.

"Please, don't go...I didn't mean to." Catra wept. "I'm so sorry, Adora."

Adora knelt down to Catra and wrapped Catra in a tight embrace. Catra sobbed into Adora's chest as Adora ran her hand up and down the feline's back. She gently put her face into Catra's hair. Catra's tail slithered around Adora's waist.

"Catra, it's okay. I'm fine."

"No, it's not fine! I just slashed you like...that and I'm just supposed to be forgiven. You should hate me!"

"How could I ever hate you?"

"Doesn't everyone?"

"Of course not. Scorpia and Entrapta seem to like you and so do I."

"I'm just not used to so much care and love. I just don't think I'm incapable of being loved so much."

"It's because of Shadow Weaver and Hordak, isn't it? They made you think this! Catra, you don't have to let them treat you like that! Catra, they don't know you like I do. I mean, I've known you since we were kids." Adora grabbed her hand and stroked her thumb against it. "If they can't see how smart and fun and amazing you are, they're the ones who don't deserve love," Adora told her grabbing her other hand.

"You...You really mean that?" Catra wipes her tears away and crossed her arms on her knees.

Adora didn't even need to answer that question. She nodded and smiled at Catra fondly. Before Catra could say anything else, Adora pressed her lips against Catra's lips. Catra surprisingly didn't hesitate to kiss back. Catra placed her hands around the blonde's waist and pulled her closer.

Adora settled her hand behind Catra's neck and laid her down on the bed with her on top. They both kissed like it would be their last. They stayed in each other's warm grasp what seemed to be like hours.

"I love you." Adora whispered, pressing her lips softly her love's neck.

"I love you, you big idiot." Catra whispered back.

Adora pulled Catra in for another kiss and the two of them laid on the bed, exchanging lovey-dovey pecks, murmuring sweet nothings to each other, and got a little frisky every now and then.

"You know the princesses are gonna flip when they hear about us?" Adora noted, her flustered face blushing red.

"And what are they gonna do about it?" Catra said, stroking Adora's neck. "They can't stop us."

"There you go again."

"What?"

"Being your stubborn self." Adora tucked a hair behind her ear. "I like that."

"Don't think I'm not still mad at you for leaving."

"Anyway I can make it up to you? Anything at all?"

"Perhaps..." Catra purred into her ear and nipped it lightly and kissed down to Adora's throat.

"I think I like where this is going.." Adora murmured.
