Adora loved her. Adora loved her more than anything. Adora loved her more than life itself. But she was with someone else. She was in love with someone else. Why was life being a bitch that early?

Adora knew that Catra and Double Trouble were more or less a couple back then. Adora had finally had worked up the courage to tell Catra how she felt, but that over-dramatic thespian had to ruin everything for her. They had gotten in the way of her plans. They had stolen Catra from her. Adora knew she should've been happy for Catra finding someone but she could t help but feel this painful anger towards it.

There were times where she wanted to just stay in bed and never come up or when she wished where she could go to sleep and never wake up.  She felt like digging herself a hole and burying herself in it. She felt like just dying whenever she saw them together. Adora was told by Bow and Glimmer that there were plenty of girls in Etheria but for Adora, there was only one for her. And she was taken. If only she had never entered the room.

But if she hadn't walked in, she would've been gone for good.

"Come on, Adora! You can do this!" Adora whispered and knocked on the door. Adora was about to go on a voyage around Etheria with Bow, Mermista, Sea Hawk, Spinnerella, and Netossa. So before she departed, she needed to tell Catra something she had been dying to say for years since she joined the Rebellion. She knocked on the door again. Catra answered with her gleaming smile.

"Hey, Adora." She said.

"Catra, I need to talk to you and I think I should just get it over with," Adora asked.

"Um, sure. Come in," Catra closed the door when Adora entered. "So what did you need to talk about?"

"Catra, I've been dealing with these sorts of emotions. I thought at first it had something to do as we grew but it turns out it's happening because I have news!"

"Adora, that's great! I've got news too! I've sort of been seeing someone."

All the color from Adora's face drained and her blue eyes seemed to have gotten smaller by the shock. "You...You have?"

"Yeah, although I wouldn't say I'm in love. It would seem too soon."

"Oh...who may I ask is the lucky one?"

"Catra, darling, you won't believe the splendid-" Double Trouble sang and saw Adora and Catra on the bed. "Adora, hon, what brings you here?" They said, kissing Catra's cheek.

"I was just going to ask the same thing," Adora saw Catra smile at her and Double Trouble grin towards her. "Catra, are you and Double Trouble seeing each other?"

"Well, yeah. They were actually quite persuasive about me going out with someone and I thought I'd give it a shot. What about you? What's your news?"

"I'm...I'm here to tell you congratulations before I leave for a few months with Bow and the others. I won't be seeing you guys in a few months. Seven's the most."

"You're leaving? Sweet, let's go!" Catra said about to walk put the door but Adora granted her wrist and released it when her cheeks colored red.

"No! You...You need to stay with Double Trouble. Especially you two being a thing and all, right?"

"You'll still write, won't you?"
