A/N: let's give catradora and their baby a chance in the modern world au, shall we?

———♢———

Adora woke up to the sound of the birds loudly chirping past her apartment building. She let a soft groan as she stretched her arm. She heard soft snoring and looked to her right to see her wife, Catra, deeply sleeping with her head on Adora's arm. Adora gave a faint smile and scratched her head.  Adora couldn't help but pepper kisses all over Catra's face. She felt a hand clutch her shirt.

"It is six in the morning." Catra groaned.

"And?" Adora placed a little peck and lick near Catra's ear.

"And that's the time I have to sleep in and I don't want that disturbed."

"Please, I've been waking you up like this for years and you have not complained once."

"Smartass."

"You'll never guess what I had in my dream."

Catra stood up from the bed and stretched. "Was it the whole 'Etheria is actually a planet' one again?"

"This time you had cat ears and a tail."

Catra began laughing. "Seriously?"

"Also, you know Rogelio?"

"The mute one we met with Kyle and Lonnie?" Catra asked, slipping her pajama pants on.

"He was this sort of lizard guy."

"That isn't creepy."

"Another thing, you know Hope's plushie?"

"If you say he came to life, I will throw that thing out."

"He came to life."

"Goodbye." Catra walked towards the door, making Adora giggle.

"Wait!" Adora threw a pillow to make Catra stop.
"You can't just throw it away. She loves that little thing."

"She calls it 'Horsey'."

"Swift Wind."

"Bless you."

"No, no, no, in the dream, his name is Swift Wind."

"What kind of name is that?" Catra said, slipping red nightshirt over her.

"I'm not sure."

"How come you keep having the same dreams over and over?"

"Maybe I am brain damaged."

"What took you so long?"

Adora threw another pillow at Catra's face. Catra threw the pillow back but Adora dodged it. Just when Adora thought Catra had bad aim, another pillow flew in her face. Adora pulled Catra and they starting flung pillows at each other. All of the aggressive pillow fightings came to an end when the two young women heard crying from another room.
