A/N: this...i can't explain. it's just the Catradora kids being an iconic sibling duo for like...two minutes in some part of the book. (in my opinion, duh.)

Hope grabbed the tracker pad from her room and answered as soon as she heard beeping.

"Calico! The tracker pad!" Hope smiled. Calico came walking in with his hair wilder than usual and scratching his left ear.

"What's happening, Indigo?" Hope finger-gunned.

"Good morning, Hope. How are things in Bright Moon?"

"Great! I overheard Mama Adora talking about moving out here and I'm kinda all for it but I'm gonna miss pranking the guards and stealing the cookies from the kitchen."

Echo chuckled lightly. "Well, I'm sure things will go alright. Where's Calico?"

"He's right here!" Hope flipped the pad to face Calico.

Calico's hair and small furs straightened in fright and quickly put the pad to his chest, making Echo's view dark.

"Hope! You don't just show random people how I look like in the morning!"

"So I am a random person?" The tracker pad muffled against his chest. Calico slowly raised it to his best friend, arms crossed and her face with calm anger.

"O-Of course, you're not a random person! I mean, you w-were when we first met but not right n-now!" Calico nervously smiled.

"I worry about you sometimes, Calico."

"I know," Calico's face flushed.

"So whatcha need?" Hope made sure the three were alone. "Ya need us to hide a body?" Hope whispered as Calico's eyes widened and stared at her. Echo laughed softly.

"I appreciate the offer, but no. Emily, Imp, and I are working on a little surprise for mother and father for their anniversary! It's hard to believe they spent almost a decade together." Echo swooned.

"And it's hard to believe Entrapta is over her thirties," Calico snorted.

"I need her secret when I get old," Hope wistfully whispered.

"I was wondering if you two could tell me where I could find a place called the Beacon? I remember mother mentioning once while analyzing a crystal piece from the place," Her pupils dilated at the thought of it.

"We know exactly where that is!" Hope jumped on her bed, raising her fists.

"But it has spiders still." Calico deadpanned.

"That's never stopped us before," Hope grabbed the tracker pad from her younger brother. "Don't worry, little Indigo! We'll get you plenty of crystals in no time!"

"You two are the best!" Echo exclaimed.

"Um, but what about the spiders?" Calico asked again.

"Calico, you don't have to go. I know how much spiders frighten you." Echo smiled at him.

He couldn't say no now.
