"Glimmer, are you Hope will be ok? I've never left without her. You know how I feel about her being alone." Adora asked Glimmer who handed her her sword.

"Of course, she will. Besides we're going to the Crimson Waste, that's no place for a six-year-old." Glimmer said.

"Yeah, she's brave. She can take care of herself. I hope."

"Hope what?" Hope entered the room with a stuffed cat.

"No, I hope."

"Oh, ok," Adora kissed Hope's forehead. "Why can't I go? I wanna see Huntara."

"Huntara's gonna be helping us with the big monster."

"But I'm gonna be all alone."

"Hey, listen, I'll be back to tuck you in for bed. Just stay in the castle. You can talk to the guards if you want."

"But they always stay still," Hope leaned in her mom's ear. "I think they're statues."

Adora chuckled at the young one's theory. "They're not statues, they're just doing their job."

"Oh, you mean like you being She-Ra."

"That's right," Adora and Hope hugged each other tightly. "Mm, you be careful. If something happens while I'm gone, you know what to do."

"Yes, ma'am."

"Good girl," Adora kissed her daughter's head. "I love you."

"I love you more than Sea Hawk loves starting fires."

"That's crazy," Adora laughed at hugged her daughter once more. "Stay safe."

"Bye!" Adora was nowhere in sight now. Hope made sure her mom and her friends were completely gone.

"Such a shame, you couldn't go with your mother," A voice said from behind Hope. "I always thought you were brave for your age."

"Shadow Weaver!" Hope hugged the woman's legs. "Where have you been?"

"In my garden as always, my child." Shadow Weaver held Hope's cheek, making the child giggle. "Why don't you come and see it?"

"Sure! I love gardens!"

"Splendid, we'll take the shortcut through the kitchen." Shadow Weaver started walking and Hope ran up to follow her. "I can see how your Adora's daughter. Although I must admit, she is only in her early 20s, I would've expected a child when she was a little older than that."

"You mean, she had me on accident?"

"Why, no, my dear. She and Catra had you because they loved you." She lied.

Catra and Adora had had a run-in with each other alone one time. What was supposed time of Catra to redeem herself completely was actually a trick. However, Catra had gotten pregnant and while Adora wanted to raise her in Bright Moon, Catra was stubborn towards it.

"I haven't seen mom since I was two."

"Now, now, my child. Mustn't shed tears."
