A/N: modern drunk Adora. this was more like a crack one shot tbh. plus, Glimmer and Scorpia already spent a day with drunk Adora so it's Catra's turn.

"You know, this wasn't necessary for you guys," Adora said, lifting Glimmer to the ceiling to place balloons.
"Are you kidding? You and Catra never celebrated your birthday in the orphanage, that's gonna change." Bow said.
"Yeah but, we still had cake," Catra said holding Bow up to the ceiling no problem.
"Yeah, it was just the kind that fell to the floor and cracked the tiles." Adora and Catra laughed as they thought back to when it landed on Rogelio's foot and Kyle and Lonnie ended up slipping on the icing.
"Sounds more like a rock than a cake to me." Glimmer said as Adora put her down on the ground.
"At least it had frosting," Catra said, dropping Bow.
"It was icing actually," Adora said.
"Icing, schming."
"Look, we've only invited close friends because we know how you guys are around giant crowds, Perfuma, Frosta, and Spinnerella volunteered to make the cake, and Mermista and Sea Hawk are bringing drinks." Bow said, Glimmer helping him to the ground.
"Today is going to be perfect." Glimmer squealed.
"It doesn't have to be perfect," Adora mumbled.
"You were sure that the memorial for my mom was going to be perfect and so, we're doing the same thing."
"Glimmer, you said even if it wasn't perfect, you'd like it."
"I've said many things that year." Glimmer patted Adora's shoulder only to have Catra removed her hand gradually and glaring scarcely at Glimmer.

"Where is she? It's almost time to cut the cake." Perfuma said.
"I think I saw Adora in the kitchen." Spinnerella said.
"No, she's in the bathroom." Sea Hawk shouted from the kitchen.
"I thought she was in the back with Glimmer and Frosta." Bow said.
"I'm RIGht hERe." A slurry voice echoed the living room. Adora's bangs were out of place and her clothes were slipping.
"Her clothes are backwards." Mermista pointed to Adora.
"Whoopsie daisy!" Adora snorted.
"Adora, where on earth have you—oh my goodness what happened to you?" Sea Hawk dropped his drink.
"Stick out your tongue," Catra said.
"Take off your shirt." Adora giggled.
Catra pulled her hair and smelled her breath.
"Uh, what did you eat? A dead rat?" She asked.
"Drinkies like Shadow Weaver used to make, right, kitty?" Adora began grabbing on Catra's leg.
