"I can't do this. What if I trip on the aisle? What if I rip my dress? What I stutter during the vows?" Catra trembled, holding onto the skirt of her gown.

"Wildcat, you have been waiting for this for as long as you can remember. You're ready." Scorpia justifies, kneeling down to fix her skirt.

"How do you know, Scorpia?"

"How do I know? How do I know? I know because Adora is waiting out there right now. She's waiting to marry you. She wouldn't be ready if she wasn't there. She loves you."

"Wow. Thanks, Scorpia. You' re a real best friend."

"Hey, I once told Adora that I would never leave you hanging. That I'll always be there for you. Especially today."

Catra and Scorpia began hearing beautiful, tranquil music. Catra right away knew what was happening. Catra calmed her nerves and Scorpia wrapped her arm around Catra's, like at princess prom. Catra took a deep breath. It was time.

"You ready, soon-to-be Princess Catra?"

"Don't call me "princess" and yeah, I'm ready."

"Let's go get you hitched."

"I'm nervous."

"Don't be. Look at it this way, after tonight, you won't be a virgin anymore." Scorpia smirked and snorted.

Catra blushed a deep red. She and Scorpia walked down the aisle. Since Catra didn't have any parent or guardian to give her away, Scorpia immediately volunteered for the position. Catra stared at all the people who were there tonight.

She could see people admiring her as her gown. Some even muttered how beautiful or regal she looks. The lovely bouquet of wildflowers gather by Perfuma, the opal jewel dangling from the neckline, the bodice with very light blue and yellow sparkles, the light rosy red designs on the skirt, and the veil with a tiny ice crystals that Frosta added last minute.

Adora wore a white suit with a red ribbon wrapped around her hair. Adora couldn't help but smile. She always loved Catra in her usual get up but seeing her in that dress, that gorgeous gown, she forgot every fight, scar, pain, and conflict that endured their lives. Catra was a vision of stunning grace.

Catra began to tear up. Being emotionally abused by Shadow Weaver and Hordak made her believe that she would never be here. That she would never be loved by anyone. Adora, in particular. Scorpia kept a tissue in her pocket, in case something like this would happen. She took it out and dabbed the tissue delicately on her tears.

When they finally reached the end, Scorpia kissed both Catra and Adora's cheek and went to sit down with Lonnie. (Sconnie forever, y'all) Catra and Adora took each other hands in an instant and could look away from each other. Catra could even see Adora mouthed, "you look beautiful." and she smiled at that.

Queen Angella flew down, ready to start the ceremony.

"Friends, family, horse, members of the Rebellion, and guests, we are here to witness the union and matrimony of these two young ladies. From friends to enemies to friends again to lovers and now, wives." The queen announced.

There was not a dry eye from the members of the Rebellion. Spinnerella sobbed joyfully while Netossa blew her nose in her handkerchief. Perfuma was crying into Entrapta's hair, Entrapta actually starting crying and making blubbering, incoherent noises, Mermista even teared up and laid her face on Sea Hawk's arm. (That's how choked up she was.) Bow and Glimmer were the ones who probably cried the most. Their best friend was getting married. Right here, right now.

"Bow, may I have the rings, please?" Angella asked.

Bow was still sobbing from the beautiful sight. He reached in his pocket to grab the rings but was too emotional to even grab them.

"For the love of..." Mermista shoved her hand in Bow's pocket and grabbed the rings. She placed them firmly in Adora's hand.

"Now get married so we can eat." Mermista bluntly spoke. (fucking relatable wedding mood.) Half of the people snickered at the comment. Adora shook her head, smiling slightly and Catra rolled their eyes and placed the rings on each other's finger.

"Adora, Catra, your vows, please?"

"Catra, I never thought I would find a love that I have with you. You are my light, my best friend, my heart, my soul, my melody, my life, my reason to live, and you're mine. Whenever we fought in the past, I always regretted it in the end. It took almost losing you for good I once promised that nothing would happen as long as we had each other, but I broke that promise; I am, however, willing to make up for that promise. I promise to protect, to love, to care for, and to honor for long as we are together. Our rivalry was the past, this is our present, and the future is still unknown but I hope we can face it together as we have done with everything.

"Catra, your vows."

"Adora, never in my life I thought anyone would ever love me as you do. I always thought I was destined to be unloved, abused, and unhappy for the rest of my life but when we started dating, you made me forget what hating myself felt like. You're the reason I hold my life together. When I told you I didn't want you to come back to the Fright Zone, I only said that because I knew that it wasn't the place for someone as amazing as you: if anything, it was the last place for someone like you. I promise to do to the same thing you promised and with the same compassion and devotion you have for me."

"After that, there is nothing left to say, you may kiss your bride."

Adora lifted Catra's veil from her face and smiled right away once she saw her blue and yellow eyes. Adora slowly leaned forward but Catra quickly pulled her head in and smashed her lips on Adora. Adora's eyes were wide open at Catra's confident move and kissed back with extra passion. Adora lifted Catra off the ground and spun her around as they heard everyone cheer.

Their wedding was truly a night to remember. It was an epic love story of a warrior princess and former Horde soldier who've overcome their challenges as being enemies to becoming wives. Although people thought it was impossible for the two to be together, Adora and Catra managed to rewrite the stars (figuratively, that is.) and proved them wrong.
