She was mainly colorblind. She could really only see blue or gray. And she loved that she could see blue. Because of her ocean eyes. She didn't understand what the feeling was exactly. She only felt something that no one would give her.
Laughter and warmth.

They were so beautiful.

She has loved them since they were kids. She has loved them growing up. She has loved then. She has loved them when they separated.

She has loved them when the city of Thaymor was burning and being destroyed and as she knew that she was gone.

With dismay and despair, she shredded the bedsheets into pieces.

Even when they would fight and fight and fight, all she wanted was for her to come back. So she could see those eyes staring at her as not an enemy but as a friend again.

"Hasn't this all gone on long enough?" She pleaded once.

"I told you before Catra. I'm not going back!" Adora told her.

She knew that what she spoke of her not returning was true but at her core, she just wanted her back.

She would see her happy with her new friends. She tried her very hardest to hold her anger towards them but somewhere she could only feel betrayal.

𝘯𝘰 𝘧𝘢𝘪𝘳

She knew that now that sparkly princess and her friends would be the ones to look in her eyes and say all the things that she would never have said but didn't have the chance. They would now be the ones to make her laugh. The ones to make her smile. The ones to be her best friends.

She couldn't help but hate it. Secretly, she would cry. Cry for herself for letting her go. For letting her leave. As much as she wanted her back, she also wanted to lead the Horde to victory. She knew she couldn't have both.

She continued to love her even when she would harm her. And she's harmed her in several ways. She left her to dangle on a cliff, she kidnapped her friends, she almost let her memory get erase. She did, however, couldn't let it happen.
