"Calico?" She checked his bed. "Calico? I know you're here."

"Lico leap!" Calico bounced next to his mom. "I got you!" He grabbed her leg.

"You got me," Catra said, lifting him up to the bed.

"Now I will make you blind." Calico giggled, covering Catra's eyes.

"Now I will attack you!" Catra tickled Calico his stomach and he fell to the ground, laughing uncontrollably. "Why are you laughing so much? I'm not even touching you."

"It's the thought that counts." Calico stopped his laughter.

"Ok, you little monster, where's Hope?"

"She and Mom went with Bow to Spinetossa's house. Hope said something about beating Netossa."

"And what'd you say about that?"

"That don't forget to take whatever's food-related."

"That's my boy." Catra ruffled his hair.

"Mom, you're messing my mane." Calico fixed his blond bangs.

"You call that a mane? Your mom has messier hair when she wakes up."

"So what d'ya wanna do?"

"I think it's time I taught you a little something called hunting. How does that sound?"

"Echo always said that hunting a violent sport. I guess since she's not here, I'm down."

"If your mom asks why there's a dead monster in the forest, what do we say?"

"Nature has run its course."

"Good boy." Catra laughed, lifting Calico to sit on her shoulders.

"Killing monsters is still legal, right?" Calico climbed up the tree with Catra helping him up.

"Lico, when there are no guards in the forest, anything's legal." Catra sat Calico down on the

"Fair point,"

"Besides, we're doing the world a favor. We kill, we feast on its meat, and we take this to our graves."

"I'm starting to see why Echo's a vegetarian." Calico gulped.

"Last time your mom ate some from the Crimson Waste, she bloated like a blowfish. Of course, we don't speak of that so don't tell her I told you that,"

"So how are we killing it? I brought my slingshot,"

"Here," Catra banded Calico a small dagger. "Your mom sleeps with this. Let's just say, she's still a bit paranoid even after Horde Prime was defeated."

"Mom hides in the closet at the sound of his name. I saw her hiding in one last week,"

"That was you," Catra chuckled.

Catra led Calico to a bush that the beast had been near. Catra grinned at the size of it. Catra pushed Calico down when he stood up tall enough to spot him easily.
