"Mom, we've been walking for two hours," Hope groaned, hitting her head on Catra's elbow.
"Speak for yourself, it's kinda good that we're out of the castle. I like riding on mom's shoulders." Calico said, wrapping his arms around Adora's neck.
"Hope, when you agreed to spend time with your family, you said, quote 'let's do it!' unquote," Adora said.
"Mom, I love you but why are you making us walk around Etheria?" Hope groaned.
"Family time,"
"All this just to spend time with us?"
"Hey, you should've seen the first date we had. She cuffed me, slapped me, made me say nice things to her, and later she kissed me," Catra stared at Adora with angry eyes. Adora winked in response.
"Are you trying to tell us how you conceived Hope?" Calico looked down at both his parents.
"Calico!" Adora and Hope shouted at him.
"Forgive me, your highnesses if I have disturbed you," Calico remarked, sarcastically.
"I don't even want to know how you came up with that theory," Hope said.
"You're right. You don't."
"Can we maybe not discuss this when we're walking through an endless forest?"
"It's not endless so just suck it up, kid. I'm not really happy about this either. Do you know how early Adora woke me up? It was getting ready for training all over again!" Catra yelled.
"Listen to me all of you! I am trying to spend time with you all because we deserve this! Some of us wanted to spend time together and some of us wanted adventure. We're getting both! Now we're gonna start acting like a family! Do you hear me?"
"Yes, ma'am," Her wife and kids blandly said.
"Do you hear me?"
"Yes, ma'am!" All three of them shouted and jump on each other.
"Great! Come on, let's keep moving." Adora smiled.

"Are we gonna talk about it?" Catra whispered.
"About what?" Adora whispered.
"The elephant in the room,"
Adora looked around their surroundings. All she could see was her kids swinging on vines and her wife staring at her, arms crossed.
"Honey, there are no elephants and this isn't even a room, it's the world."
"Adora, love, it's an expression."
"Oh, I knew that I was just testing you,"
"Adora, what was with the yelling? You haven't yelled since Calico took his first steps,"
"It just slipped out," She murmured.
"I did not," Catra spoke in the same tone as Adora.
"It did,"
"Did not," Catra raised her voice a bit.
"It did," Adora said a bit louder.
"It did," Catra smirked.
"Did not," Adora said. "Wait, what now?" She looked down at the ground with her wife laughing.
"Reverse psychology. You should learn it sometime,"
"Ok, so I got a little angry but hey, we've all been mad before, right?"
"Adora, you scared me. That's a first in a while,"
"Honey, everybody yells at their kids every once in a while."
"If you tell me what's wrong, I'll help,"
"Catra, I told you I'm fine! What don't you un-" Adora felt Catra kissing her lips with familiar passion. Catra's teeth pulled on Adora's bottom lip. She sucked on her wife's mouth until she moaned, giving in.
"You ready to talk?" Catra smiled at her.
Adora sighed. Whenever Catra kissed her, it never fails to make her seem vulnerable.
"I guess it's because since we didn't necessarily have parents of our own, I want to be there for our kids. What if one day we disappear and they don't know what to do? What if something happens to us and they might separate?"
"Adora, our kids are going to be fine. We're gonna be fine. Don't get all worried about the future," Catra kissed her wife's cheek.
"Speaking of which, where are the kids?"
Adora and Catra heard screaming coming from the forest. They ran to the direction of the scream.
"I never thought Hope would scream that loud,"
"Calico, Hope, what happened?"
"I pushed Calico by mistake and he pulled me in the lake!" Hope laughed so hard with Calico trying to push her into the water.
"We are stopping at two kids, right? Adora?" Catra looked up to see her wife climbing up a tree.
"Cannonball!" She splashed into the lake with her kids. Catra looked near the place where her wife had fallen in. She felt arms wrapping around her, pulling her into the freezing water.
Catra jumped out of the lake and kicked Adora into the water. Her kids laughed at the hilarious scene their parents were making. You could say that they spend some time together. It only took a little violence.
