A/N: time for Hope to have a little sibling.

———♢———

"So then, she grabbed my sword and ran right through my head." She pretended to have a sword stabbing her head. "I guess, maybe even after all these years I'm still afraid that she might turn against good and try to take over Etheria again or maybe I'm just having these nightmares because I'm guilty? You get what I mean?" Adora asked her son, Calico.

"Well, I can't say that Mom is gonna turn evil just by a dream but could it be because it wasn't Mom, it was probably Hope or me? We all share the family resemblance. You're afraid that one of us is going to end up like Mom when she was a teenager. That's why you never told us about the Horde or the portal or Horde Prime and so on and so forth." The young boy sat on a chair in front of the bed. He brushed his unkempt, blond hair out of his green eyes.

"Ok, I'm suddenly scared on how you figured that out."

"Aunt Perfuma always said that if you can read people's minds then you've been gifted by the universe and it wants you to use that gift. Whatever the heck that means." He chuckled. "I think you should talk to mom about this, if you ask me or at the very least, write it down somewhere and crumple the paper."

"That's it? That doesn't seem so hard."

"Oh, and don't forget to recycle that paper and to eat and stay hydrated at all times and please come if you have another nightmare, I enjoy our talks."

"Thank you, sweetie." Adora kissed his cheek. "By the way, shouldn't you be outside with Hope?"

"I will. Just give me a minute to change." Calico watched his mother leave the room and walked toward his desk. He took out a recorder Entrapta gave him for his recent birthday.

"Log day 117: mother Adora yet again had another problem with her subconscious; another evil dream. I'm on my way to go and keep an eye on my older sister, Hope. I'm praying that she doesn't try to get us in another stunt that could contort a bone or break my spine or make her break a hand like last March," Calico's ears twitched. They weren't exactly as feline-like as his mother and sister's but they worked promptly like them. "Also I can hear her climbing up my ceiling and I am now going to move before she lands on me." Calico moved two steps to the left to let Hope bounce from the floor and land on her stomach.

"Hi, Hope." He smiled.

"You know, the fact that you keep knowing when I'm going to strike really gets me, brother." Hope grumbled.

"If you want to catch me by surprise, you need to be as quiet as-IS THAT A MOUSE?"

"What?! Where?" Hope stood on her arms and legs and searched the room. Calico laughed.

"You're so gullible."

"You're mean."

"So what deadly situation will you be getting us into today?" Calico helped his sister up. "Will it be sledding down Frosta's castle or jumping into the ocean where the black sharks swim at or a simple stroll through the ruins of the Fright Zone?"

"As matter of fact, it was the last one." Hope pushed her brother's head. "Glad to see you're catching on, 'lico."

"Edit to log. The Fright Zone exploration continues for the the catradora siblings."
