Adora and Catra has just finished picking up their daughter, Hope from Plumeria. While Hope stood there with Perfuma, Adora and Catra were busy battling monsters. The Horde may have been defeated several years ago but there were still bits and scraps of evil. Throughout the entire walk back to Bright Moon, Hope has been shouting unintelligible words. Adora found it endearing that her daughter could say her first words while Catra thought it had become annoying after twenty minutes.

"Catra, are you sure you weren't having an allergic reaction to those flowers?" Adora felt her heard for the sixth time when they left.

"Adora, for the seventh time, I'm fine." She blew her nose in a tissue. She tossed the tissue away.

"Glim!" Hope pointed.

"Glim?" Adora and Catra saw Glimmer sleeping next to a memorial of her mother, Queen Angella. The statue had flowers surrounding the bottom of it. Candles dimly lit due to the afternoon. Glimmer's magic seemed to have gotten out of its control since there were hundreds of sparkles flying around the Queen's statue.

"Should we wake her? She looks uncomfortable." Catra asked and Adora walked up to her.

"Glimmer?" Adora gave the queen a nudge. The queen only scooted herself closer to the statue.

"Sparkles?" Catra shook her arm. Hope climbed down from Adora and crawled to Glimmer. She waved her tail in her face and Glimmer sneezed awake.

"Hope?" The queen groaned. "How many times do we have to go over this? No wagging your tail when people are sleeping." Hope pointed to her moms. "Hi, guys."

"Glimmer, have you been here all day?" Adora helped Glimmer up.

"No, of course not." Adora and Catra stared down at her. "Well, only from the morning."

"Glimmer, what's going on?"

"I don't know if you guys would understand."

"Excuse me, we had to save you and the others from a more horrible version of Hordak, Adora nearly gave up her life to save us, I stalled Horde Prime to not hurt Etheria, Adora broke the Sword of Protection for your mistake, and a bunch of other deadly adventures so yeah, maybe we'll understand." Catra patted Glimmer's cheek with a cheeky smile.

"Today's Mother's Day. Usually, it would be me and my mom having fun for a whole day. It's just hard because she and I never had a Mother's Day where she..." Glimmer paused when she saw Catra staring down at Hope. "...she wasn't gone." Glimmer finished.

"So, what is Mother's Day?" Adora quickly changed the subject.

"It's a day that pretty much honors the mothers of Etheria. It's a day to show appreciation and saying thanks to them. Every year, mom and I did pretty much did everything together that day. It was fun when she was around. It's not that I don't like having my dad around, it's just sort of hard celebrating today without her or any day really."

"Glimmer, I'm so sorry." Adora hugged Glimmer. Glimmer felt a hand rubbing her back.

"I'm sorry too. I really am. If I hadn't been...you know, crazy, none of that would have happened. Your mom would still be here and maybe Horde Prime would have never come. I'm really sorry."
