Adora and Catra were under the shade of a tree. Catra laid on Adora's lap as Adora curled her fingers in Catra's hair. The two spent many days like this. Just the two of them; they would snuggle in each other's arms, exchange forbidden kisses, and share stories from their lives. The best part is, their relationship was a complete secret.
Until now.
"Can I tell you something?" Adora said, kissing her forehead.
"Sure." Catra breathed.
"How would you react if I sort of told someone?"
Catra sat up. "Who did you tell?"
"Bow."
"The arrow guy? He can keep a secret, right?"
"He can. I think." Catra crossed her arms hearing this uncertainty.
"aDoRa!" A voice yelled.
Bow ran through the woods looking for the two. He spotted the two of them and panted from all his running.
"Bow, what's going on?" Adora said, standing up, ready to grab her sword.
"Good news!" Bow said,
"Your voice stopped cracking?" Catra said, earning a glare from Bow and a little laugh from Adora.
"No...you get to have an open wedding!"
"We're not engaged." Adora stuttered.
"Well you have to now because I promised Sea Hawk, he'd sing at your ceremony!"
"Sea Hawk?"
"Don't get mad but I think everyone knows...please don't hurt me."
"Hold it, princess boy! How did everyone know?" Catra stood up with Adora lifting her up.
"Well, Glimmer knew I was keeping a secret and she sort of squeezed it out of me and told Swift Wind to go look for you, then, he told Netossa on his way to find you, who told Spinnerella, who told Frosta by accident, who told Perfuma, who told Mermista and then told Sea Hawk, and told me to ask you if he can sing."
"Now do I slash him?" Catra said, slashing her claws out.
"No! You...You...You stay." Adora stammered, pointing at Catra. "Bow, I gave you one job!"
"Glimmer practically held me over a cliff. In fact, she did. It's bad enough I kept a secret about my family, I couldn't keep secrets from her anymore." Bow took a paper out of his pocket. "Here, Queen Angella wants to see both of you for lunch."
"Well that does it, we're officially going to die."
"No one's going to die." Adora looked back her. "Tell her we'll be there."
Bow nodded and ran off. Adora and Catra looked at each other with fear in their eyes. Adora grabbed Catra's hand and pressed her lips against them.
"You know what we have to do, right?"
"Runaway and change our names to C'yra and Aimee?"
Adora laughed and shook her head. "No. We go eat lunch with the queen."
"Okay, so we go up and say, 'Hi Queenie, I'm Catra, who's secretly been seeing your princess of power for the last three months and oh, did I mention, I'm a force captain in the Horde?' We're gonna need a better plan than that!"
"Hey, we'll just tell her what's been going on? Besides she accepted me being a Horde soldier, she'll accept you too."
"I don't know, Adora."
