Adora chased through the Whispering Woods to catch her. This time she wasn't going to get away with it. She was going to pay for hurting her friend. Because of her, he could die.

Catra found herself at the edge of a precipice. Adora had her cornered.

"You...you hurt my friend."

"Boy with arrows?" Catra laughed. "He'll be fine; I'd say he has a few more hours."

"Catra, why? Why do you do this? This...this isn't you!" Adora walked closer. "The Catra I used to know would have never taken things this far."

"In case, you've forgotten, my dumb princess, she's been gone for years," She sighed with a light smirk. "there's no use in saving me, remember?"

"No, I halfheartedly disagree. Somewhere inside me, I know there's good. You don't have to keep doing this. You've known enough. You know, there are others. If you find them, maybe they can help you."

"You don't get it, do you?" The wind blew stronger. "The bad guys never win. I do, however, think I can change that."

"Catra, please, don't make me want to hurt you. I talked to Shadow Weaver, I know now. I know why you did what you did all those years ago."

"No, Adora, you don't. If you did, you would have helped me sooner." She slashed her nails out.

"If you say so." Adora smashed her sword to the ground. The ground began breaking.

"So this is it, huh, princess?"

"I didn't want to do this, Catra."

"Who knew that sweet, innocent Adora would harm an old friend of hers."

"You hurt people, you hurt me, Catra."

"I guess you know how it felt for me when you left."

"No, Catra, this is leaving." Adora turned away and lifted her sword. Catra saw in actual awe as her enemy leave.

Adora knew at that exact moment, Catra was far from being saved. After everything, everything, they went through growing up, she couldn't come to her senses. After years of fighting, it just couldn't end. Adora was almost 22 and she still couldn't do it. If she was being honest, part of her wanted Catra to fall and see how badly it hurt when Catra decided to be a foe than a friend. To be allies than enemies. To be together than to be separated. However, another part wanted Catra to call out to her for help. To reach out for help. Physically and mentally. Maybe, just maybe, they could be some way to help her. It doesn't have to involve aggressive fighting nor words nor killing. Catra was still someone she had in her life. If it weren't for her, where would Adora be? If she really thought about it, if it weren't for her and Catra leaving the Fright Zone and Catra nearly crashing them, Adora probably wouldn't have found the sword. If it weren't for Catra staying by Adora's choice, maybe Catra would've joined her in the Rebellion. If Catra never became a part of her life, would there even be the Adora she was today? Would she be She-Ra? Would becoming She-Ra taken a longer time to appear at a time of crisis?
