A/N: this is an apology for all the times i either killed Catra or Adora, making them suffer or whatever. basically, this is horrible fluff that i came up one saturday when i was sooo sleepy and then i wake up at like 1:00 on sunday.

The morning beams shined through the many windows of Bright Moon. The light landed on Adora as she woke up, shielding her eyes from the sunlight. She heard fainted snoring coming from the girl on the edge of her bed. Catra.

"Morning," Adora said, kicking Catra's head lightly.

Catra sat up with her hair fully covering her eyes. "But it's still dark out." Adora separated Catra's hair in two and smiled. "Oh, hey." The half feline one grinned.

"I had that She-Ra dream again."

"She-Ra, huh?"

"She was wearing her clothes, Cat."

"Ah, so a boring dream." Catra gazed at her retractable nails.

"Catra?" Adora laughed.

"Continue." Catra put her hand down.

"She said something about bringing...hope to the people of Etheria. Hadn't we done that already?"

"I think you just worry too much."

"What makes you think that?"

"Well, for starters, you have visions of your princess self talking to you and warning about events that could come about in the future and second, you're asking your former worst enemy about what could happen in the future." Catra began using her claws to stroke through Adora's hair, combing it as soft as she could to not hurt her.

"It's just pretty hard to imagine that things could stay like this forever." Adora covered herself and Catra under the velvety blankets. "I get that we got rid of our enemies years ago and the kingdoms are thriving and that's great, but why am I getting these dreams of bringing hope to Etheria?"

"Adora, maybe it's just a way of saying to enjoy life as it is at the moment. Maybe the safer the planet is, the safer everyone else will feel."

"Yeah, maybe you're right."

"Of course I am."

"Catra, can I ask you something?"

"You just did."

"You know what I mean," Adora pushed Catra's face. "It's still hard to believe that we've all come this far after...you know."

"That's all in the past, Adora." Catra tied Adora's blonde hair into her usual ponytail. "In a way, we are ruling Etheria together."

"We are?"

"Adora, you turn into a giant sword princess and everyone just bows down to you and doing whatever they can to impress you."

"That's not entirely true."

"What do you mean?"

"You never bow down and suck up."

"That's because I'm not as desperate as Sparkles, boy with arrows, the little mermaid, Mother Nature, snow queen, and shanty guy."
