She lost her. She tried not to but...Catra, she wouldn't listen. She felt pain to think that they were best friends. Sometimes she wonders what might have been if she never left Catra like that. If she had let her go with her, could she have followed her to the side of good? Would she not be the evil person she was now? Is there really no sign of redemption for her? Maybe so. She was her enemy now.

Catra had to have a good reason for all that she's done. Winning couldn't be what she wanted. It had to be something else. She couldn't force her to join them. Catra made her choice. She was all pure evil from now. They say that when on a hunt, the prey looks into the predators' eyes to see if there's any mercy and if they won't hurt them. She could see that there was no mercy in Catra...anymore.

She wrote down all the feelings she felt for Catra then and now. All the feelings she felt when Catra didn't come with her. When she fought Catra in the battle of Bright Moon. When Catra opened the portal. When Catra became her worst self yet. Adora knew that somewhere deep down, Catra wanted to leave. She grew up with her, she knew her before all of this happened.

She pleaded for Catra to go with her, she dreamt and imagined of the day when Catra would join them. Was there something she was doing wrong? She gets that Catra was upset with her leaving but it was so easy to leave the Horde that she should've been able to do it herself. She knew how the Horde treated Catra. Catra didn't belong there no matter how many times she said it was her rightful place. Catra could be so much more than just a villain. She just couldn't. However, it seemed that after all that time they spent, it was all for naught. Like it was nothing. Like she was nothing.

"Adora!" She heard Catra shout when the princess teleported them out of the Horde soldier's way.

"Adora!" She screamed, muffled by the spiders taking her away. She held on to her as tight as she could. Catra screamed for help when she disappeared behind the mirror.

"Catra!" She slammed her fist on the mirror and laying her head on the mirror, nearly crying for the girl who was taken.

She watched as Catra flew away with Scorpia and the rest of the Horde squadron. This couldn't be what she really wanted, right? However, she knew it wouldn't be the last time she'd see Catra in battle.

"I knew you couldn't do it." Catra's voice echoed. She couldn't even take out the digital version of her.
