Dealing with Adora was one thing but dealing with Adora as a toddler was not fun.

Perhaps if we start at the beginning.

"Ok, just remember, no matter how tempted you are to touch a crystal, don't! These things can either turn you into dust or freeze you for eternity," Bow said, holding up a magnifying glass to one of the glowing crystals.

"Which one can turn you into a worm?" Catra asked.

"Don't even think about it." Adora glared at her.

"Who knows. Most of them can either kill you or cause you to act crazy," Bow answered.

"Crazier than Catra?" Adora snorted.

"Says the girl who hasn't gotten rid of the dumb poof thing on your head,"

"Oh, like you never-"

"Can we maybe not discuss this when we're not in a creepy crystal cave?" Bow pleaded.

Catra and Adora looked away from each other.

"Princess," Catra sneered.

"Litter maker," Adora argued back.

"Blond giant," Catra looked back at her.

"Brunette piece of-" Adora leaned in closer to her, nearly pressing her nose against hers.

"Guys!" Glimmer and Bow shouted loudly, some of the crystals were shaking. The girls immediately shut up.

"I get that Adora's still learning to forgive her but this is ridiculous," Glimmer whispered to Bow.

"I think it's kind of cute. I mean, they're talking, right? That's always a start," Bow whispered back with a nervous chuckle.

"Adora almost called her a piece of—waaait, where'd they go?" Glimmer asked as she pointed to where the girls were standing.

Adora brought Catra into a dimly lit corner. She pushed Catra up against the wall.

"Are we having another one of those moments?" Catra smirked playfully.

"Why do you insist on picking fights?" Adora scolded.

"Just trying to add some entertainment to this whole thing. Forgive me for being a beginner," Catra scratched a nail against one of the crystals. Adora pulled her finger away from the crystal.

"You asked if one of these things can turn someone into a worm," Adora said, dropping the girl's hand.
