As the stars shined bright and the moons beaming over Etheria, two young girls laid in their bed in their chamber.

Adora rested her exhausted head on Catra's head as the feline slept. Adora smiled at her best friend. Should she even call her that? After all the emotions she felt towards her, what would she even call her?

She still felt Catra's hand still in hers. She was having those thoughts again. Adora hasn't woken up from a nightmare or from some random awakening in the middle of the night but she had been up for the last two hours. Not a nap, not a tired eye, not even a yawn.

It had been months since the battle of Etheria was over. Since Horde Prime was defeated. Since Hordak's reign of terror ended and the kingdoms had finally been rebuilt after so much damage. Adora smiled at the thoughts.

She thought of the cheers when the people of Etheria applauded for the heroes of their land. She thought of the rebuilding of the kingdoms. She thought of Salineas have a party the second it was done rebuilding.

The time when Entrapta ran towards Hordak after she found him after Horde Prime's defeat. The hilarious night when she met the real Flutterina showed up only to find out she was nothing like the impression Double Trouble had of her. The day when Catra had apologized to her when she thought she was talking to Double Trouble. The day she realized she felt Catra was something more than her friend.

Suddenly, another memory came to her. It wasn't a happy one. She held the three scar marks on her cheek.

"Catra, hang on!" Adora held Catra, pulling her up.

"Adora, let go," Catra said, pulling herself down.

"Are you nuts?!"

"Adora, I'll be fine. Just let go!"

"No, I'm not letting go again! Every time I do, someone gets hurt or something bad happens'

She remembered the sincere look on Catra's face. The tears on her eyes flew off with the wind as she raised her hand and swiped it down Adora's cheek who held her gashes to keep the blood from falling, letting Catra go in the process.

"Catra!" She remembered shouting down as Catra fell with her eyes closed.

Catra may have recovered but Adora could never forget the look in her eyes when she fell down, her eyes shut as if she was ready for the pain that was about to be inflicted upon her. Adora jumped out of spaceship, trying to keep up with her but as she fell Catra was gone. The next thing she knew, Glimmer grabbed Adora and teleported her down to the Whispering Woods where Catra was at.

It was a long night for everyone that day. Adora never wanted to let go of Catra again. She never wanted to be separated from her again. No wonder it wasn't much a surprise when Adora asked Glimmer if she could share a room with Catra.
