A/N: prepare for Hope's squad! au where Adora and Catra are alive and raising their daughter.

Five teenagers have huddled around in a circle in a murky part of the Whispering Woods. Hope and her friends. Jordyn, a boy with sandy brown hair and green eyes held a bag in his hands, Clover, a girl with black-haired braids all over her head, hazel eyes, and glasses were making sure the Woods were completely empty along with her cousin, Silver, who had black hair with grey eyes, and their prosthetic arm holding on to a branch, and Isla, a girl with blond hair and brown eyes was just filing her nails.
"Queen Mermsita's trident?" Jordyn asked Silver next to him.
"Check." Silver answered.
"Queen Entrapta's toolbox?"
"Checkity check."
"What are we doing with lives?"
"Hope, you need to stop with the questions."
"Sorry, it's a habit." Hope giggled. "I just keep thinking."
"About your moms being angry?" Silver sang.
"Silver!" Clover elbowed their ribs.
Hope jumped from the tree and landed on her feet. "I told them I wouldn't steal things anymore," Hope said, emptying the bag.
"Yes." Jordyn sneered. "But, if I recall, you told them that a year ago and we've still been going on with this. You need to stop worrying."
"I don't know."
"Listen, half of us are seventeen." Isla squished her cheeks with her hands. "There ain't no time to be selfless, it is our time to be selfish!"
"Which means, don't worry about the future and worry about the leisurely present we're living in right now."
"I told y'all she'd give up soon." Clover groaned.
"Shut up, Clover." Silver scolded.
"Hope, relax. If they catch us, we'll put them back for sure." Isla crossed her heart.
"Come on, H." Silver said, giving her the bag.
"Unless of course, you're chicken," Jordyn said and Isla clucked. Hope dropped everything she was carrying. She smirked at her friend. If there's one thing everyone knows about Hope, is that she never chickens out of anything.
"I'll show you chicken."

Hope, Jordyn, Isla, Clover, and Silver arrived at a big castle. It was so dark that they could barely see the castle. They could, however, see the lights from the bedroom windows.
"Alright, here's the plan." Clover whispered. "Silver, you go and distract the queen. Make sure she is convinced that something isn't wrong."
"The time has come to bring my good acting skills to work." Silver made their hair flip to the side and strutted towards the castle.
