The love between us is meant to be behind walls.
Away from crowds and out of sight
Without you, the world and my heart falls
For you, our love I will forever defend and fight

Perhaps in another life
Our love would be a secret no more
But through this war and strife
We're forced to meet by the lakeshore.

Adora sat on a boulder waiting for the demon she met yesterday. She couldn't believe that she had fallen in love with her enemy. They were going to banish her for good. They're going to find out and they and they were going to separate them before they even got together.

Wait, what am I doing? She doesn't want to be with me. She's a demon. She's working for the person who is probably sending her to kill my friends right now.

"Hey, Adora." A suave voice spoke to her.

Adora turned to see the demon she met. She looked radiant in her black cleavage window outfit that went amazing with her dark wings. "Catra. You actually came."

Catra sat down next to her. "Well duh. Did you think I was that bad?"

Adora smirked. "I don't know. Probably."

"Yeah well, people never did have too much faith in me." Catra punched her arm faintly.

"Can you blame me?"

"Not really."

Both girls sat on the edge of the lake. Adora dipped her feet lightly in the water. Catra, however, was not a big fan of water. She just crouched her knees against her chest.

"So what did you want from me?"

"I guess I just wanted to get to know you better. If you don't mind."

"Wouldn't your friends be upset about that? You know, considering we're fighting each other."

"They're not here now, are they?"

"Looks like the angel has become a trouble."

"Not trouble. Just disobeying orders for this one time."

"So tell me, how did you die?"

"The woman who raised me killed me. Just because I couldn't bring her this one girl she wanted. What about you?"

"Just a little sword fighting accident. I was fighting this one monster on the roof, on the rails of Bright Moon castle and I fell off."

"That's a stupid way to die."

"Tell me about it."

"The woman who raised you, who was she?"

"Her name was Shadow Weaver. She was more ruthless and heartless than anyone I've ever met; more evil than Hordak."

"Did she wore a mask all the time and have a long red robe or something?"

"How did you know?"

"Because she's the one who came and threatened to kill Queen Angella and Princess Glimmer one day at a festival we were having."

"She sent me."

"She forced you, didn't she?"

"She told me, that if I didn't kill them and the others in the castle, she'd kill me herself. I just failed to kill one person. Some tall woman named She-Ra.

"I was there that day when the queen and her daughter were both killed. I was She-Ra. You didn't kill me. You're the one I saw last before I died."
