"What do you mean, you can't babysit? Scorpia, you've never missed a day and you're the only person who can babysit at the moment."

"Can't you ask Entrapta?" Scorpia managed to cough out.

"She's out of town for some science shit."

Are you mad at me?"

"No, if you're sick, then that's fine. How about I bring you something?"

"Aww, you don't have to do that. It's Hope, you should worry about." Scorpia coughed again and groaned at her sore throat.

"I just don't know who's gonna want to watch her."

"Lonnie? Rogelio? Kyle?"

"Lonnie's out for a concert and Rogelio and Kyle went out."

"Glimmer and Bow?"

"Glimmer's teaching today and Bow's went on a trip to New York with his dads."

"Maybe...you could ask...you know?"

"No! We made a promise that we would never speak of him or bring Hope near him. Why would you bring him up anyway?!"

"You got a point."

"Look, I'll just bring a soup or something and maybe my boss won't mind having her near me."

"Ok, see you later." Catra hung up the phone. Catra could hear a scream coming from the kitchen.

"Hope?" Catra ran into the kitchen and saw her daughter on top of the refrigerator. "What happened?"

"Mouse!" Hope pointed to a mouse running across the room. Catra giggled at her daughter's overdramatized dear of mice. When the mouse ran near Catra, she stepped on the tail of the mouse. She picked up the squirming rodent and threw it out of the house before it could run back inside.

"It's gone." Catra helped her down. "Get your shoes on, we're going for a walk."

"Where are we going?"

"Scorpia's sick, so you're going to work with me."

"Are we bringing something?"

"Yep. So put your shoes on and get the keys, okay?" Catra kissed the little one's head and she nodded.

"I'm bored," Hope whined, hating her head on her mother's arm. Catra lifted her up.

"I'll tell you what, since work doesn't start for another thirty minutes, I'll let you play in the park." Catra pointed to a park that looked a little bare. It was like the entire playground was all Hope's.

"Really?"

"Only if you don't go far."

"I won't." Hope ran straight to the playground while Catra sat on a nearby bench. When she sat down, she heard vibrating coming her phone. The caller ID read 'unknown'. Catra answered the phone in hesitation.

"Hello?"

"Where is she?" The voice spoke in an ominous tone that Catra jumped at.

"How did you get this number?"

"You forget, Catra; I have eyes everywhere."
