Stars have returned to Etheria. Everyone knew the well-known story of the sun and moon. How the moon loved the sun so much that she died every night so the sun could breathe. This story always made the people of Etheria weep and interested in astronomy. Especially one young girl.

"Hope, where are you?" A woman with hair up to her shoulders called out.

"I'm up here!" A little girl shouted from the roof of Bright Moon castle.

"What did I say about climbing to the top of the castle?"

"One day, I'll fall and I will irreversibly contort my spine and will cry like uncle Bow."

"Good girl. Now come down, dinner's ready."

The two girls walked into the dining room where a man with a growing goatee was eating like an animal.

"Where was she this time?" The man asked.

"On the roof. As usual."

"Stargazing, again?"

"I was doing just fine. It's not like I was tightroping on the edges." The girl snapped back.

"Were you?" The man knew what she was doing.

"Maybe."

"At least we know she's her daughter."

"Bow, we promised to never speak of that day again."

"Glimmer, I know but I'm speaking of relationships, not incidents."

"Can you guys tell me one more thing about them?"

"Well, they had a real bond. Even when they tried to maim each other." Bow was then elbowed hard by Glimmer in his sides.

"Why did they try to maim each other?"

"Because they were once enemies."

"If they loved each other, why did they fight like that?"

"Well, kitty, it was way before you were born."

"Can I hear the story?"

"I think it's time we told her everything. She is six now."

"Alright, after we eat."

Hope was eating as fast as she could. Surprisingly, she didn't have any trouble with stuffing the food down her mouth. "I'm done." Hope left the room.

"She's just like when we took Adora to Thaymor."

"That's our girl."

"Ok! I wanna hear the story." Hope squealed, wrapping the warm blanket around her.

Bow rubbed Glimmer's back. "She's ready, Glimmer." He smiled.

"Fine." Glimmer inhaled.

Glimmer's POV

Bow was right. We can't keep shutting Hope out when it comes to her parents. She deserves to know what happened and who they were. She was an amazing kid and we loved her. I'm doing this as a favor for Adora.
