What was the point of living when there's no one to live for or to care about you? Catra asked herself subconsciously.

She stood at the edge of a precipice, hand on her heart. She was done being brokenhearted. She had been hurt for the last time. She breathed in the salty most of the ocean. She could see waves crashing and washing over the rocks near it. She just couldn't take it anymore. She could stand to live in a world where she was completely alone with those two wicked people in her life. She didn't want to be in their care (if she should even call it that) any longer. Years of torment, ridicule, and abuse; physically and emotionally was all she needed to do it. She looked up at stars and prayed that this would work.

She jumped.

Adora went for her evening swim with her friends, Bow and Glimmer.

"Adora, come on! We've been swimming forever!" Glimmer grunted.

"Yeah, I'm starting to get hungry." Bow held his stomach.

"Bow, you're like a sea dog, you just go home to eat."

"That's not true."

"Kinda is." Glimmer sang teasingly. Adora stopped swimming and Bow and Glimmer bumped into her. Adora squinted her eyes and saw as a figure was drenching deeper into the water.

"Hey, guys, what's that?" Adora pointed to it.

"Human!" Bow hid behind Glimmer.

"Guys, she's drowning." Adora was about to swim up and save her but Glimmer held her back.

"Good, maybe the sharks can eat her." Glimmer scowled at the sight of a human in the ocean.

"Little harsh, Glim."

"Whatever, humans deserved it after what they did to my parents."

"Maybe not this human." Adora freed herself out of Glimmer's grasp and swam towards the human.

"Adora, no!" Glimmer tried to grab her tail. Bow began swimming after Adora.

"Bow, what are you doing?" Glimmer asked.

"If Adora goes down, so do I!" Bow swam and Glimmer groaned as she followed her friends.

It is her. Adora grabbed Catra by her arms and swam up as fast as she could.

Adora laid the girl on the cold sand. Bow and Glimmer followed her up to the surface and began stalling the air around them.

"Over here, you guys!" Adora called out to them.

"Is it really a human?" Bow asked and Adora shushed him.

"Is she...dead?" Adora asked, frightened

"It's hard to say," Bow lifted the girl's foot and placed his ear against it. "No pulse."

"Maybe because you didn't check her heart." Glimmer swam up.
